The whole cyber weekend is a deceptive theme anyway. You can get some good deals (as above) though there are always deals out there if you're willing to search around for them. It took me two days to find those shoes at that price with the sale.

Coincidently though, there's this cycling website (planetx) that had this bike on there that I've been looking at buying since September. Last I checked it was retailing at £950. With the cyber weekend on, I figured I'd go onto the site and see how much it had dropped (I'd recieved an email from the website stating they had a 25% sale on the whole weekend).

Long story short, I went back through my own emails to find the direct link to the bike (thus ensuring I was looking at the same one). You'll imagine my surprise when I found it was listed as £1300 but with a lovely 25% discount which conveniently brought the price back down to £950. The website, at some point over the last three months had increased the price some £350 only to have a sale on that dropped it back down to it's original price anyway.

Bit of a cheek on their part. Suffice to say I didn't buy it.
