He's doing something original, so I'm happy.

H1KC - Good
Devils Rejects - Great
Lords of Salem - Greatest (i hope)

Rob just released the first teaser image (other than that poster) on his film blog:

I'm thinking we may see some witch torture, kind of what was glimpsed at in his music video.

Count me in. I love the Salem setting and that this is original.

Yeah that image really has me hyped. I'm so pleased he's doing an original film again!

He did a graphic novel a few years ago called The Nail and it had a Salem witch trial thing going on in it. If he incorporates some of that I'll be very, very happy

That image looks great.

Rob Zombie can do no wrong.

He mentioned last week on his twitter that Wayne Toth is doing the effects like with his other films. Fantastic.

hmm, those pics are pretty awesome. especially the one of the hut made what i assume is hay or something.

Casting would be nice, though I imagine Zombie is gonna use the same 5 or 6 actors he always uses.

This could very well be Rob's best film. I've loved all his films so far, even though Halloween II (2009) was the least great.

Hopefully we'll start seeing more. This starts shooting this month.

Speaking of "The Nail", I hope Zombie will somehow get "T-Rex", which is loosely based on The Nail, off the ground.

I think this might be Rob's darkest film yet, which is great. I'm a huge fan of his and I believe he's one of the most influential horror film directors in recent years.

Really? He hasn't really influenced ANYONE if you ask me. I'm not hating on the movie. THis could be gold. His masterpiece, but none of his projects really have made me think he deserves to be in the ranks of horror masters like Argentio, Craven, Hitchcock, Carpenter, Romero, etc.

^^ To each his own, I guess, lol. I love his style and I've really never see anything like his types of horror films. Some may consider his type of movies like the original Last House On The Left. They're very disturbing, but in a good way.
