Exactly, THIS IS MY FOURTH ATTEMPT TO REPLY TO THIS THREAD! Every time I try to post something it times out. Considering I work for a web development company I would assume our connection is pretty damn fast.

We've all been patient but this has been going on for months now. Costs like these aren't great but at the end of the day your ad revenue is determined by traffic. If this carries on for much longer people WILL start leaving the site. It's better to spend the money now and keep the income coming in.

I really like this website but it's becoming unbearable due to load time. It's really making for a completely unpleasant experience and turning me off to coming here. I'm no tech guy, but i noticed that some archives like older posts on the Heroes forum had been purged. If it's a matter of clearing out old posts, then a good place to start is deleting the James Bond forum. 007 is not a superhero. if it's a matter of upgrading the hardware for the site...then do it!

It did do good. We know now that what we thought was the problem, in fact, wasn't the problem, or at least the sole problem.

Gawd this lag is so annoying. At first I thought it was just my cpu. It takes 10 damn minutes to load each page.

It's not just the Hype's fault. A lot of people aren't getting these ridiculously long lags. At most I usually get 30 second lags when it's bad. Usually around 10.

So not all the blame can be laid at the Hype or everyone would be getting these lags like they were a few weeks ago.

Do you usually have a lot of stuff downloading/uploading? That usually makes my Hype lags worse, especially the uploading.

Uhm, sir? ComingSoon.net, SuperheroHype.com and ShockTillYouDrop.com is running on I believe 7 servers now... M'Kay? The forums is a different hardware issue. We should have the stuff in place this weekend, we're waiting on a couple more things.
