It's my Canadian charmHow is it that Alex is in a relationship...and I'm not?
I think that Intervention (the tv show) is a gem. It seems to brings lots of funny moments.
Karma says: "You won't be laughing in a few years when you become horribly addicted to something."
Oh really?
I feel the exact same way. I feel like we are father and son "In name only".Sometimes when I watch a show with a strong father and son bond I wish my father and I could be like that.
That's usually how it works...it's pretty S.A.A.D that you find entertainment in others' hardships.

Try something new. I've been hearing that joke since 1999 or 2000.
Well here's a tip for them,if they don't want to be made fun of,then they shouldn't allow themselves to be shown on tv. Or they should keep in mind that people will laugh at them and that they might laugh at them at their expense for acting funny.

They're on television because they have a problem. And each episode serves as an example to show millions of people suffering from addiction out there just how much of a problem it is and encourages them to get help. It's meant to be educational, not entertainment. Yes, some of the subjects' behavior is ridiculous, but mature people would be saddened by it, not tickled.![]()
Indeed. It existsI... don't think there is such a thing.![]()
It's out of my control that they accidentally embarrass themselves on television.

Oh, this is when I really wish we had the 'Leave A Message...' thread again...
