Today is my girlfriend and I's 6th month. I known her for 3 years prior, through a friend. I never made a move on her in 3 years because "I knew I'd never even have a chance in hell" with her.

Then last summer we started to hangout together more and more and she ended up confessing how much she liked ME. It was ****ing shocking to say the least.

But the truth is its impossible to tell if you have a chance or not, because generally your the one getting in the way.

And even if shes not interested you can just date her less attractive best friend and make her jealous, show her what shes missing.

Well her mates alright aswell but I like her more.

Nah, that wouldn't be fair. It would be manipulative. When you're going to flirt with somebody, do it because you like them and want them to know. Not because you have ulterior motives.

Were turning the confession thread into the relationship thread, maybe we should move the convo there. But really I think the trick is being casual and not making a big deal about it.

Maybe take her out on a few scams with friends, get to know her better, and let her get to know you better, then ask her out on the real deal.

Good for you man, I know what it is like to feel self concious physically, but try not to let that get in the way of working out(if that is what's happening with you). Just go for it, laugh off any thoughts of being self concoious, do the wii thing along with your gf, you might get a few laughs out of it along the way with her. And if you get some time on your own, just run on the spot for as long as you can go, do press ups, anything, just keep it going and you will feel better as the time goes on.

It varies from person to person, and some people just shouldn't be stuck with themselves.
