Sometimes I'm a little disgusted by the amount of vitriol spewed by adults toward famous children.
These are still kids, and they're in a very formative & delicate part of their lives, but the internet is filled to the brim with some of the most cruel and disgusting insults, slurs, and jokes at their expense. If you're in your 20's/30's and you feel it's necessary to spend a large amount of your own creative energy bashing someone who's still not old enough to legally make their own decisions, then I think it might be time to reassess yourself a little. There are plenty of kids out there whose music and movies I'm not particularly fond of, but that's likely because I'm not part of their pre-teen/teen target demographic. I'm not going to go out of my way to insult them and make them feel terrible about themselves. These aren't fully adjusted adults who've learned to let the insults and jeering roll off their backs. I honestly think crap like that is why so many child stars turn to drugs and alcohol at a young age.
I think his family are being incredibly selfish and should let him play his computer tonight.
