You can see in Mark's eyes that filming this movie was the first time in a decade that he wished he hadn't broken up The Funky Bunch.
I certainly know some folks who will enjoy reading it just for references to the uncouth of this site.I would recommend to all the forthcoming book (I got an advance copy) THE CAPED CRUSADE: Batman And The Rise Of Nerd Culture by Glen Weldon. He has a lot to say about the choices of online expression in the fan community, in fact Superherohype is name dropped a few times in the book. Hopefully it's out soon.

Does it cover the accuracy of each Batman film as an adaption? It is an interesting read covering Batman history. I think any fan that is interested in a cultural critique of the character should give it a read. I don't agree with all the author's conclusions but it's well thought out. Plus... Anything that helps to continue to correct the whole "Bob Kane invented Batman by himself" narrative is welcome.

I need to write this info down, at least to remember getting a copy.
Speaking of werewolves and vamps, of all the anime/manga properties I have always wondered why Hollywood never got on a live action stylish adaptation of VAMPIRE HUNTER D?
Needs to happen. Visually and aesthetically it's very unique compared to a lot of stuff out now.
As I understand it they could even base it off the original novel as well.
I have always liked the two VAMP D. films I have seen but admit they don't quite gel as fully formed entertainment but the mythology and lore and the visuals are uber compelling. I am just surprised we never saw this getting traction in Hollywood given the big deal vampires in pop culture were just a few years back.
You should probably just wait for the bluray. its edited so so so badly.
Literally looks like a 4 hour movie was cut into pieces... snyder grabbed a 2.5 hour handful, tossed it in a bucket and stirred it around.
Oh and Doomsday is so amazingly awful.
