Alan Rickman is a perfect example, Eobard...

The kids on the Harry Potter sets, and the cast in general, adored the man.

Someone should cast a film with all those great character actors that are known to play villains as just the most tender and loving guys imaginable.

^ just put him with the cast and writers of 44 inch chest and we have ourselves oscar bait

theres a funny video of Gambon and Rickman pranking the cast with a fart machine lol

Sometimes I feel that not being into POTTER is a blind spot in my Fanboy resume... Then I remember I just didn't particularly like the two books and films I saw. It just didn't grab me.

The way she smirked after she got pushed away from doomsday was awesome, kind of like Thor's mannerisms, their both battle hardened warriors ready for the kill, it was basically her version of Thor saying "IS THAT THE BEST YOU COULD DO?!", love it! :woot:

She was good. I still have my doubts that she will be able to support an entire solo film.

Star Trek and Harry Potter are my major blindspots to my nerdism.

the books aren't much of anything until the third... same goes for the movies... but after watching the movies the first 2 become that kiddie nostalgia fix you sometimes need.

in you and C. Lee's case it would probably be like

I was a grown ass man when the first book came out and everything that followed. I don't remember ever going to the theater to see any of them (not because I was in a blackout either). I enjoyed the films for what they are and def have mad respect for all the young people the books helped bring into the joys of reading but the franchise itself I can take it or leave it. Makes no difference to me really.

EDIT: I do get more nerd-cred than I should though because I have a 9 3/4 luggage tag on my backpack that came with my Loot Crate awhile back. Sometimes it's funny because someone will se it and try to nerd-out with me about and I'm just like "Have you heard about the joys of Marvel Studios?"

A strong supporting cast will assist her, like all the famous actors/actresses in Thor (2011) that assisted Hemsworth.

I'm really wondering about the legs for BvS next weekend. Will be interesting to see if how the critics have treated it is going to have an affect on the GA as compared to WoM from those who enjoyed the film. It will be a very interesting dichotomy.

Finally saw 10 Cloverfield Lane. Turned out to be a great remedy for my BvS woes.

Also, I ****ing LOVE Harry Potter. That 3rd book I read in one night just cuz I could NOT put it down. I will defend those books to the death.

The movies not so much.

I have no animosity to the series and can see that they were well made entertainments ect. I understand others passion but... They didn't grab me in either form, film or book for whatever reason.

Speaking of woes.... That reminds me how glad I am Nice Guys is hitting a couple of weeks after Sausage Factory: Civil War.

ST is just too... I don't know... boring for me I suppose? I just could never bare to watch more than a few episodes of any series. I enjoy the Abrams films a bit, but even they aren't anything I jump out of my seat for.
