Zombies... I've seen it once before in a rat, and I see it now in men. Once one gets a taste for its own kind, it can spread through the pack like a wildfire. Mindlessly chomping and biting at their own hinds. Nothing but the taste of flesh on their minds. You know the thing about a rat? It's got lifeless eyes. Black eyes like a doll's eyes. Don't seem to be living at all when it come at ya. Till it bites ya. And then the eyes roll over white. You don't hear nothing but the screaming and the hollering...

As good as some recent films, books and comics have been with them... I just never gave a crap about Zombies. The idea just... I don't know, it shouldn't bother me since it's no less irrational than any other sci fi or magical trope, but all I can think of is... Just wait them out. Like in World War Z, which I actually really enjoyed, loved that Pitt's character's observational skills are what matters... Still... This wouldn't actually have been an end of the world problem. Those infected at some point would just collapse from lack of food, heck, they'd collapse out of lack of water in about three days. BOOM. Problem solved.

Never been much a fan. I do rather like the designs on Resident Evil 6's enemies. They look like they been skinned, with chainsaws and blades made from their bones.

So, that au pair I was going on the other night about comes in this morning. She's all, "Oh, I was thinking I wasn't going to see you again. The family is going to the Hamptons Tue. and I didn't know you worked tonite." Then she makes a quip about being "monogamous" with her bed upstairs and tells me, out of nowhere how good I am looking. (And guys... I look like crap... Then again she was going on about not caring about guy's looks, so...).

Is it just me? Is this just plain ole Euro-Carribean charm or something else?

That was a good show, no doubt. Lots of fealty to the comics and bringing in stuff like the Tricertrons and Usagi Yojimbo. All great stuff... I just felt the movie was more in the wheel house of the faux Frank Miller vibe of the original comics.
