Moreso since I loved that stupid Ninja Turtles movie from two years ago, acknowledging its deep, massive stupidity.
And I disagree with so many haters of unpopular comic book movies.


Biiiiig bummer.

I went in not expecting much, maybe that's why. I want the series leading up too JLA to keep going tho. I'll definitely being picking up the extended Bluray

I'll say this, I did like the tone of it. Certain plot elements kind of impinged on the rest of the movie's main plot.

It has some neat ideas, but it's a mess.
I'm afraid people did not exaggerate with this movie.

As I said, such is life. I enjoyed it a lot. I can't say I can agree with some of what I find to be some quite over the top language and expression of opinion right now. But... I am used to marching to the beat of my own drum.

Frankly though the work in putting my website and podcast together is taking up time (next up is getting together on a shoe string budget a model shoot for logo work and producing a song for CIVIL WAR) I am grateful as it's kept me away from the Hype more than I have been in the past. The atmosphere is just too over the top right now. Plus I have to finish up DD season two for enjoyment as much as for the podcast (watching it right now) as well as writing some other stuff so I think I have too full a plate to spend on arguing too much.

The Dark Knight Returns? I'm not a fan of that story, but it is -to my dismay- better than this movie.
The Dark Knight Rises is awesome, flaws and all.

The book was good with some flaws.

The movie was terrible. The plot made no sense and half the actions would have had to be allowed by idiots for the bad guys to get away with anything. The stock market for one and the police underground for the other, among many other things.

I watch the movies for the story and visuals. The comics mostly for the story.

Been watching random episodes of Robot Chicken on Youtube. lols. Today I watched E.T lols where he gets bullied by the other "E.T's" and they get ticked off when E.T gives them the middle finger and they pick him up (funny part is when he starts screaming) and they take him to a planet filled with other creatures. lols "Friend?"
