What did you think of the Deadpool movie?

One of my great memories from a convention I went to.....it was held in a hotel, I was staying at it and the celebs were too. After the con closed for the evening....I went to the lobby (a real nice one with a fireplace and big glass windows where you could easily watch the snow coming down)....I was sitting there watching the snow when someone asked me if the seat next to me was taken....I turned, said no it wasn't, and was surprised to see Felix Sila (Twikki in BUCK RODGERS, Cousin Itt in ADAMS FAMILY, etc). We sat and talked everything except movies. We discussed family (we showed each other family pics) he talked about how beautiful the snow was and how rarely he has seen it, he talked about how different the landscape was here than in California.....I think he just liked being able to talk to someone without having it be about the business of Hollywood.

First off it had the worst Thur/Fri-Sun opening weekend drop of any CBM in history, over an 80% drop it's first week, then almost a 70% drop it's second weekend. Even it maintains a 50% drop this weekend (it ill probably be higher if it continues on it's current trend) it won't keep the #1 spot thanks to an R rated Melissa McCarthy comedy. Most analysts show the film needs at least $800m WW to break a profit. If you don't think the execs at WB are freaking out right now you're insane.

Then after this upcoming weekend it will have to deal with the Jungle Book which is getting rave reviews and has the nostalgia factor and then right after that Cap:Civil War is going to destroy anything that's left.

As I said, not a good way to start your cinematic universe. WB is going to have to do some major course correcting to get the DCCU on track. I'm rooting for them because I want awesome DC films to look forward to but they have to make some major adjustments and I don't think anyone at WB is either smart enough or has the balls to do what they need to do.

EDIT: It may not even outgross an R-rated Deadpool film domestically. That's insane.
 
I'll be honest - I didn't think anyone at WB would have the balls to give some of the stuff in BvS the go ahead. I mean, I loved it, it was all good fun for me, but yeah it did drag you into some really dark places at certain points.

But then again, a couple of my favorite characters ended up roasting a kid at the stake, so yeah...

Otherwise, I feel ya Deej. I want them to right the ship because I'd hate to see BvS and SS left hanging.

That's awesome. You know I've seen videos on YouTube of natasha where she greets her fans and even chats with them as she signs autographs and yet I find that very rare these days. She definitely has a pretty good sense of humor and really is down to earth. One you want to chill and have a normal lengthy conversation about anything. She's awesome. Aside from her... Hayley is another...Chris as well...Jennifer Garner oh most definitely.

Anyway...I'm currently watching The Secret Circle. Just watched the pilot. I'm a little hooked but we'll see how the 2nd episode goes. I still got two episodes left of Eli Stone season 1 to finish before I get to the final season.

Oh in other news....I have a knack for blondes now. At work.. this tall blonde came in and man she was so distracting....I served her at my till and yes I know what you read here will be taken out of context but she seemed really nice...

I have a new profound appreciation for blondes.


In the past...I had a few friends who were not as nice and every time they said anything remotely stupid and f up...I wanted to just stuff a cork in their mouths lol.

Yeah I know I view most blondes as bi*ches but I guess I haven't come across nice interesting ones up until a month ago when out of the blue my ex tracked me down. ...like hello. ..and you are?

Trust me. ...it's kinda personal but it's not something I go telling people around.

It goes way way back to the time ....where I was at a strip club. I can't share such details here. Not even my folks need to know cause they don't need to know about anything of my sex life. Let alone what I've done in my past and what happened around the time when I woke up with not much of the memories I wish I could still remember. All thanks to the accident where it led to losing her. Anyway I don't want to bog down in detail cause half the stuff...I can't recall. But since she showed up. ..she's been helping me remember some things.
 
When you're browsing through Imgur and you see something scary and now you can't go to bed for at least another 30 minutes.
 
It's my husband's 30th birthday today and other than my mom and his, no other family or friends bothered to call or text. Brother, sister in law, best friends. No one.

I'm so mad I want to slap them all.

People are truly pathetic. And so concerned with their own lives. **** em all.
