Does anyone think telling a nine year old the truth about things is bad? I'm his uncle and he's having a rough time since his parents are divorced and hate each other. His mother is an idiot and prefers to get high and do anything else but raise her kid and his dad is a jerk to him because he's always stressed out about things and he gets reminded of all the crap that happened to him over the years by the mother when he sees his kid.

I went through the same **** as a kid so I can relate to him and he knows he can talk to me. He asks me questions and I give him the straight truth he won't get from either parent, grand parents or anyone else. I try to explain both sides of every situation to show him that it's nothing he does (mostly) and being an adult is hard. No one ever explained that **** to me when I was a kid. I have no idea how I'd have taken it.

Nothing to stop you.
Talk to him, answer him, and don't feel guilt over it.
Just remind him not to open his mouth about it to his dad.

I'm not in love with that Rogue One trailer. The leading lady comes off as Rey 2.0 and Whitaker as Maz. Should've emphasised the team aspect.

While I enjoyed The Force Awakens...I liked the trailer of Rogue One.


Though I did feel meh about it but considering it's just a teaser...I am sure we'll see a full length trailer in the next coming months. Seeing those AT-AT walkers got me excited.
