I've got a legit question & perhaps (hopefully) you'll come up with a possible answer. Why hasn't the concept of time travel never been introduced in the Star Wars Universe?? It's been used on numerous occasions in Star Trek, so why not in SW??

Too OP, nerf it.

Nice that the "real" DS decided to show up. :sly:

Whataburger A1 Thick and Hearty with Extra Bacon - best remedy after a night of heavy drinking.

Yes, the cajun fries are killer. I wasn't a fan of the burger though.

They sort of had something like it. It was more of a mental time travel thing using the Force. Guy went back to see if he was making the right decisions about stuff. It's now non-canon.

As it is, I imagine adding time travel to Star Wars would make things either overcomplicated or everything redundant. Look at Star Trek. They used time travel often enough that everyone just asked why didn't they use it all the time since it was so easy. They went back by accident, to save whales, to reboot the entire universe, ect. It can fix or ruin everything because its how it works.

Star Wars already has the Force. A mysterious power that can apparently do anything because why not? It's everywhere, in everything and may or may not be controlling the entire universe for kicks. The Jedi and Sith beat the hell out of each other using superpowers that range from fast healing and mind control to causing cosmic storms that open black holes and destroy planets.

TL;DR: Time travel in SW is pointless. The Force is way too overpowered as it is.

My burger was too soggy, but yeah them fries are out of this world.

@Who needs time travel when you can have a planetful of a dead character's clones ready for activation?

Was Darth Nihilus the most powerful of the Sith Lords? I'm not familiar with the novels of the EU, but in the game I remember him being able to destroy entire planets on his own. With his own powers.

I like fiveguys but you have to eat it ASAP... the grease is overwhelming and the fries are the same way.

Best burgers? home grilled.

and you don't need time travel when you have Force ghosts :oldrazz:

It's going to take me awhile to get used to more than ONE Star Wars line of Movies lol
I mean I EXPECT Marvel or DC to have more than one thing going on Movie and TV wise but this is a whole other thing.

I hear you. But for me since then I've learned to lower my expectations down to a T not knowing anything about every detail of the film (s).

It's kind of weird expecting good (or at least decent) SW movies again. After the prequels I expected just more crap with occasional good spots but I enjoyed Ep 7 like I didn't the prequels.

I agree with you.

Once Disney gets the rights for the original trilogy I hope they restore the originals for a future release on Blu Ray by removing the unnecessary changes Lucas bestowed upon what made the originals more superior to the special editions.

But can force ghosts time travel?

I suddenly have the urge to watch Breakdown, such a taut, thriller, of a movie.

Lucky Burger in NYC/New Jersey. Quality meat, great buns... And yes, I am aware of how that sounds.

I hate how whenever I go to the next page here and there on this forum I have to close that stupid car advertisement and it's annoying as hell every time.

I don't think there's evidence one way or another. From what I know they're limited in what they can do after death. After a few years or so they fade away. Except for the Sith ones. Those ****ers stick around for centuries for some reason. 'Accepting your death' or something makes you lose cohesion when being a jackass lets you murder things after you die. Go figure.

The old continuity had Yoda choosing Degobah because a Dark Force user of some kind had died there and his spirit or spiritual energy helped to mask Yoda from the Emperor and Vader.

That was what that cave from ESB was. The Dark Jedi was wrecking stuff and landed on Dagobah for whatever reason and he fought Yoda then died there.

It's called the Cave of Evil.

Man... The Degobah tourism board needs to work on how they name stuff.
