First, I'm not sure which gadgets we have confirmed are in the movie. So if someone could list that, I, and I'm sure a few others, would appreciate it.

Second, what is speculated to be in the film?

Third, what would you LIKE to see Bats use?

And on the topic of Bat-Tech, am I the only one who hates the idea of the Bat-Signal? My understanding of light and physics tells me that it would only work on extreme cloud coverage (does Gordon only call when the forecast is gloomy?) while using an insanely bright light. Not to mention how diffused the bat symbol would be.

Yes, yes, I know its a movie, but the thing is so obviously impractical that it bugs my adult(ish) mind. Everything else in terms of gadgets I can accept, mostly because they're predicated on not-yet-invented technology.

Anyone who has seen an airport searchlight from miles away should know the concept of a Bat-Signal is not that ridiculous.

I'd love to see an upgrade on the grapple - maybe different attachments. I think the only thing that's been confirmed is the picture of the hand-prong, truck-grabbing thingy. Ooo and on the magazine article, where it had the first picture of the suit, it said that his gauntlets let rip and that his cape has a super special something-or-other that it's capable of.

Yeah don't his gauntlets fire out or something? I didn't hear anything about the cape though.

I'm sure it said his cape did something. And it came across as something new because they were vague about it. I'm sure that's right. Never trust an egg with details though :)

They said something about Bats having a radar vision or something similar that turns his eyes white. That could be cool.

Here's the article I mentioned. The cape and gauntlets doing stuff is confirmed by Lindy Hemming :)

Yeah, I've been wondering what's the 'secret' behind the cape.

Also can't wait to see him use the razors on his guantlets.

I've been wanting to see him pin a bad guy to the wall or a crate for so long just like in the comics and animated series.

I dont know what exactly is going on with the shooting scallops, but i find it ridiculous.
Maybe its "zomg unrealistixorz" but i think that batman needs to shoot batarangs. Not those flimsy ones from begins though.

If his gauntlets start shooting things, then we know fox didnt make the suit. Tony Stark did.

How do you know what shoots out aren't batarangs themselves?

I dont know. I just figured its the scallops because he now has 6 on each hand.

But anyway, no matter what he shoots, if i see Batman pointing his hand like ironman/buzz lightyear/spiderman/whatever and things just shoot out of his gauntlet imma gonna rage so bad!!!

LOL, I can't believe it's going to set you off that much.

From where they're placed on his gauntlets(on his forearm) I'm guessing the best way for him to use them would be swinging his arm out which would look practically identical to when he does his arm swing in the comics/cartoon to throw a batarang.

I would be fine with that. But if he stands there pointing his hand and shooting people its totally different. Its wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think you need to worry about it. Where they're placed if he pointed his hand straight out at a bad guy they would shoot out to his left or right instead of straight.

He would need to have his arm kind of against his chest to aim straight forward.

I think I heard somewhere that his cape is razor sharp or something.

Whoa - That GCN bit showed us the potential for a lot of new gadgets. Do we have any spoilers on the stealth blades?

The cape is definitely going to do something different, and it's a sure bet we're going to see some more technology.

I want to see Batman be more of a detective. He needs his laser finger printing kit.

And the Bat-Lab :word:

It comes out of the backpack by all accounts.

As someone else said above, I think the Gotham Tonight episode definitely hinted at new technology. There was something mentioned in that clip that pretty much referenced the device he was using to trace the bills in the vault with Gordan.

You can see how his gauntlets shoot in the TV Spot.

I think the newest mag with the full Batsuit pic mentioned a "pneumatic grip" with the new gloves (not that weird thing from the van pic).

The coolest gadget by far is the sonar night vision that turns batman's eyes white. Thats gonna be sick! Cant wait to see what he looks like
