Well, didn't they say that there would be toys released that are not in the movie?

I know that the Spiderman 3 toys are out in Toys R Us. I saw Kraven the Hunter, The Lizard..they're not in SM3.

They also have Green Goblin, Rhino, and Doc Ock, but if you look closely, they just have "Spider-Man" printed on their packages, not "Spider-Man 3."

It's pretty much confirmed that this one's from the videogame tie-in.

What I don't understand is why they name the thing Swindle, while giving him a personality and alt-mode reminiscent of Runabout and a head that looks like a primitive Shockwave. Those are pretty much the three most different Decepticons one could think of.

I'm not sure if this has bee addressed or not, but Is Megatron going to be the Alien Jet, or should I believe the Science Fiction of Wikipedia and assume he will adapt the mode of a Stealth Bomber? Because, other than the gun that we love, that is not a bad choice.

Last time i heard is that megatron was going to be the A-10 Thunderbolt II, they show that plane on a sneek peek vid.

Hello guys. Been lurking this whole board for about a year now. Got even worse, when "Heroes" came about.

Being a former USAF airman, and a HUGE fan of the A-10, I came in just to point out, that among the many nicknames that the A-10 Thunderbolt has, "Flying Gun" is one of them, as it is basically a plane built around the massive gun sticking out front.

Appropriate for Megatron I'd say, and how I'd love it, if it indeed is his alt mode.

Skorponok is taken out by an attack by a couple of A-10 Thunderbolt II and a C-130 Gunship.

It's almost definately certain that this is where those craft appear in the movie rather than being Megatrons Eath Alt mode.

Anyway...

Megatron is only on screen and mobile for about 15-20 minutes and 90% of that is a fight sequence in and around a LA street (Least i think it's meant to be LA).

He doesn't have time to scan a Alt mode onto his frame

You're being disingenuous and/or on crack if you think Swindle's head looks MORE like Shockwave than that Gobot.

Again, you're being disingenuous and/or on crack if you think that new toy and that Gobot aren't almost identical to each other compared to Shockwave.....

But, yeah, they all have a cyclops eye... if that's what you mean. Plus, the "weird" face worked for Shockwave as a character because he was somewhat of a "special" elevated character (like Omega Supreme, etc).... as powerful if not MORE powerful than Megatron.... not a run-of-the-mill, throw-away, car character.
