wow I think this is the best update since I got my PS3. So much content and not just crap

KALEL114, you need to add a demo for Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. I think thats the only thing you are missing. $9.99 doesnt seem to bad. I hope thats what the SF2 edition will be like

there's no way they can get ape escape working on a psp so it must only work on the ps3's ps1 emulator.

Done thanks for pointing it out.:yay:

DAMNIT! When I read the Puzzle Fighter part, I thought the HD version of Street Fighter was out. :(

They already got it on PSP ported over from PS1 on a UMD.

Firmware 1.92 is now available.

Find out what features are included in PS3 system software update 1.92.

An update to the PS3TM system software was released on September 4, 2007. If you update your PS3TM system, the system software will be version 1.92.

The PLAYSTATION®3 system software version 1.92 update includes the following:

Playability

Playability status with the PS3TM system has changed for some PLAYSTATION®3 format titles*.

* This does not affect titles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.

Note:

This system software update includes all features contained in previous versions.
The new system software will preserve any settings previously made to the PLAYSTATION 3.
Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PS3 system software.
Do not perform updates using any data other than the official update data provided by Sony Computer Entertainment over a network or on disc media, and do not perform updates by methods other than those described in the product documentation or in this site. The pointless thing is that I got this update, if it has no effect for European consoles, why did I have to get the update?

I don't know. Perhaps there is something we don't know yet. Did you also notice that when you dl'ed it, it did not tell you what was in the update? Every update so far has told you, except this one. I think we may be in for some surprises. Just speculation.

Home For PS3 - 11th October 2007
And other PSN release dates

Finally, the motherload. This apparently is a release list for the rest of the year - all the great stuff coming to the PlayStation Network that SCEE is publishing, and there's some absolute crackers in the line-up, the star being Home, which is scheduled provisionally for the 11th of October.

The full list is below:

4th October - SnakeBall and Pixel Junk Racers
11th October - Home
18th October - High Velocity Bowling
25th of October - Aqua Vita, Operation C.F, Trials of Topoq and Eye Create
8th of November - Tori Emaki
15th of November - Mesmerize
6th of December - Sky Diving and Elefunk
13th of December - Pain
20th of December - Dark Mist

No date yet for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but it's definitely before December. Note that these are European dates, and that the date for Home is 'provisional'. These are apparently official dates sent to the European press but are subject to change - so please don't blame us if they turn out wrong!

Here's PS3 release dates, too:

17th October - Folklore
19th October - Lair
24th October - Eye of Judgment (PSN games above tie in with this date)
7th November - Ratchet and Clank: Operation Destruction (European title)
28th November - Time Crisis 4
5th December - Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

Great update today, but I can't get online still

US update today.

The new demos include:
• Stranglehold
• NBA Live 08

There are also new add-ons for two popular PS3 games – MotorStorm and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. For all the MotorStorm fans, the add-on pack includes a new track, 4 new vehicles, 9 races and a new online mode. Now, for those of you who are just interested in the vehicles, we give you the option to buy those individually, at $0.99 each. The vehicles that are sold individually are the same ones that are in the add-on pack, making the pack a great deal! The Ninja Gaiden Sigma add-on (first of three) includes 5 survival modes for $2.99.

• MotorStorm Revenge Weekend Add-on Pack (New track, vehicles, races and race mode) — $5.99
• MotorStorm Add-on Vehicle 1 (Wakazashi Razor bike) — $0.99
• MotorStorm Add-on Vehicle 2 (Wombat Mudslide ATV) — $0.99
• MotorStorm Add-on Vehicle 3 (Atlas Varjack mudplugger) — $0.99
• MotorStorm Add-on Vehicle 4 (Atlas Arizona big rig) — $0.99
• Ninja Gaiden Sigma Weapons Master Add-on (5 survival modes) — $2.99

And, finally, plenty of trailers and wallpapers:

• Turok “Quiet Kills” Trailer
• PixelJunk Racers Trailer
• Heavenly Sword “Making Of” No. 5
• Heavenly Sword Anime No. 5
• Lair “World in Chaos” Video
• MotorStorm “Coyote Revenge” Video

The full list is below:

25th of October - Aqua Vita, Operation C.F, Trials of Topoq and Eye Create
8th of November - Tori Emaki
15th of November - Mesmerize

13th of December - Pain
20th of December - Dark Mist

Damn. The four I want most are Echochrome, Street Fighter, Wipeout, and Everyday Shooter, but none of them are listed. Sucks if we have to wait until next year.

Despite it sounding like a euphemism for robot hemorrhoids, IGN is big fan of Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank series. Thrillingly then, Sony's told IGN that a demo of upcoming Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will hit PSN on October 4.
