Action-Adventure The NCIS Thread - Part 2

It was cool to see Becca Tobin free of the shackles of Glee, I hope Blaze becomes a recurring character or maybe gets added to the New Orleans roster.
She could be but since she's headed to Quantico, it's going to be very rare. She'd be more likely to show up on NCIS than LA just due to the geography of her character.

Is the new show called Quantico a CBS show? Just wondering if maybe they are connecting another show to the NCIS brand like they did with Hawaii Five-0.

I think New Orleans has started the best of the 3 shows. Percy is a good addition and both eps have been good so far, setting up overarching stories for Pride, Brody and even Sebastian. On a side note re:Brody, Zoe McLellan really suits the new hairstyle.

LA has been ok, not really interested in any more of Callen's angsty past, but Deeks IA investigation storyline and the fact they are actually moving him and Kensi forward is good, the stuff in last weeks ep with Mercedes Mason's character was fun. Plus there is potential with Sam training Eric. :D

On NCIS the overriding thing on my mind has been how old Gibbs suddenly looks, has Mark Harmon been ill? The ongoing friction between Gibbs and Tony is interesting, it feels like he's getting Tony ready to take over from him.

I love the addition of Percy. And Brody looks real good with her new hair style.

I have been thinking that of Gibbs the past few seasons that he feels like he has setting up Tony to take over for him.

LA has been drawing from the Callen well too much for too long I agree. At least we have the Deeks story arc going forward and the potential of Eric following in Nell's footsteps.

I'm also glad they brought Percy into the fold in New Orleans. I liked her last season and was hoping she would live and be at least a recurring character since it seemed they were taking that direction like Fornell. Now she's a regular so that's even better.

Just watched this weeks New Orleans ep, really good stuff again.

I wonder if the Sherlock Consortium were planted as a possible spin-off int his weeks NCIS, either way it was the best ep of the season so far IMO, just ahead of Abs Die Hard ep.

New Orleans Heart Heist ep was also good, it was cool to see Triple P get a bit of development.

is there a back side camera view to that pic? :drl:

Pauley Perrette was assaulted yesterday.

On my street, I was jumped by a VERY psychotic homeless man," she wrote.

The man grabbed Perrette, pinned her arm, punched her in the nose and forehead and "repeatedly" told her that he was going to kill her.

"I was alone, terrified and trapped," Perrette wrote. "There was an empty garage behind me and I knew if he got me in there I was dead."

Perrette said she prayed and tried to connect with the man. The man finally told her to "get the f*** out of here. And I did," Perrette wrote, adding that she collapsed on the sidewalk in shock.

She texted two friends and provided a sketch of the man, who was headed toward Hollywood Boulevard.

Could be the beginning of the end for the show as one of the show's original cast members is leaving at the end of the season. The show's producer, Gary Glasberg, said earlier in the season they were looking to add some new cast members so that may have been the writing on the wall that some people were leaving. McCallum said he isn't getting any younger and isn't sure how many more years he has left so I could see someone eventually replacing Ducky since Palmer is not a medical examiner. Also, it sounded like they were thinking of giving Abby someone to interact with in her forensics lab.

I always said that the show is going to end when one of the initial main cast leaves.
I stopped watching after Ziva left, the way they wrote her out was such a slap in everybodys face.
There is a pretty low chance for Ziva to return for Tonys final episodes, but i still hope for it.

I hope it's not a kill off. Just have him settle down with that hot ATF agent he was dating and retire into the sunset.

The problem with de Pablo's exit is that she didn't tell the writers and producers until the last minute while Weatherly seems to have given them warning since well before the start of the season. Gary Glasberg said in an interview just before the season or shortly after it started, that Tony would start to question his place at NCIS and if it was the life he wanted, especially after seeing what Gibbs went through after being shot. Those thoughts haven't really started yet for Tony but I suspect they'll start coming soon and will culminate in the final few episodes.

They are also bringing in two new regulars next season so it might be they have known for some time about this being his last season and one of the new characters will be replacing him.

I am wondering if Cote de Pablo left the series because of some threats against her for playing an Israeli? I have never heard of any reason giving for her leaving NCIS.

I have never heard that rumor before. I think she left because she didn't want to play the role anymore and wanted to do something else.

It was more that there had been negotiations till the last minute but cbs etc didnt even for one second thought she would leave...until she did.
Still, the way they wrote her out was horrible done and there could have been dozens of better ways.

Jennifer Esposito takes over for Michael Weatherly's DiNozzo as Special Agent Alexandra "Alex" Quinn. They also had to add Duane Henry's MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves and Wilmer Valderrama's new deep undercover character fill out the shoes he left behind. 3 new characters to replace him. :oldrazz:

Don't worry. Jennifer will be killed off by the writers after 3 seasons.

At this point, I think they're adding so many because they don't know who'll stick as favorites for fans and also because Harmon is getting a bit old so they need some others to do some of the physical stuff.

What?! That's a big loss and due to a creative decision no less. While I felt she was the weak point in the 2 part back door pilot episodes. She grew on me the past 2 seasons. Bye, Brody.

Feels like another Kate situation. Only instead of killing her off they just wrote her away.
