I didnt see a thread on this! But the new Ipod looks pretty good!!! Im going to get it when the 30gigs comes out! I still have my Best Buy Replacement plan and Ill just exchange Creative Z Vision M with the New Ipod Touch!!! I love how its soo thin, and the screen is sooo much bigger than the Vision m!!!

totally weak they only come in 8 and 16 gig. maybe there'd be more room for music if they didnt try to cram a bunch of unecessary crap on it like the internet, youtube, and a wifi music store.

damn, the classic ipod come in 160 gig now. wow.

Yea Im waiting for a 30 gig! Hopefully they will released one next year!

I'd love to have an iPod touch. But I can't go down from 80 to 16 gigs. Not for $399. If it was a 64 gigs I'd probably already have bought one online. But that would probably add at least 100 bucks to the price.

For $399 I'd rather have an iPhone. It's even less memory, but you get so much more with it.

I thought each new more expensive ipod was suppose to hold more than its previous incarnation?

So much choice... I like that 160GB, but I wouldnt mind an i-phone or a zune

My iPod is fine thanks.

The iPod Classic took a bump to 160GB for the same price as the previous high end iPod. The new iPod Touch uses nano-flash memory, which still doesn't have the capacity of a hard-drive based unit and is still relatively spendy. They use it because it allows for the ultra-thin form factor the iPhone, Nano, Shuffle and now iPod Touch all sport. Eventually nano-flash will catch up in capacity and cost and they'll use more and more of that in their products. I'm thinking the 160GB unit looks pretty damn good. Oh, and SupaLuda, the Zune is sh1t. Don't subject yourself to one of those things.

I think a Zune killed Jag's mom :(

No, it just sucked ass and paled in comparison to every single other MP3 unit on the market.

Heh, it's just funny because since the Zune been announced, you've bashed it a lot... Quite a bit for a product that's going vanish relatively quickly, if it hasn't already...

I saw Zunes on sale at Target.

They were ugly. :(

And thanks for the info Jag.

I bash it because it deserves it.

Fair enough... However who buys Microsoft Products that was so last Millennium :whatever:

They make good keyboards and mice (well, whoever they OEM them from does). Other than that, everything Microsoft makes is crap. Terrible hardware design and reliability. Software that's so buggy it shouldn't even be considered an alpha release. Draconian licensing schemes. Atrociously high pricing schemes. I have no idea why people keep buying their products.

They have to pay people well to work for someone like Ballmer.

I don't remember exactly what my bro said but he has to go to meetings, etc while he's up there, I think Balmer said a couple of words at one of the meetings or something... He's going back again in 2 weeks... Sounds like an awesome place to work... Even if they put out crap products :(

Their Mac Business Unit does put out some pretty decent software. I used to work with quite a few folks from that unit along with quite a few Apple folks. They all seemed to really love what they were doing. Can't speak for the M$ folks working on Windows related stuff, though. I avoided them when I was working that job. :o
