the new Doc Ock

so what do you guys think of the new look and voice of Doc Ock. personally I think it's ok. its definitely different than any other version.

I'd love to see how they'd handle this in this cartoon. Would Gwen end up blaming Spider-Man, putting a strain on their friendship/relationship?

I'm enjoying timid Otto but in ep 8, he'll be long gone!

He appeared in The Invisible Hand. The cop in a blue suit that Spidey saved from a car was Captain Stacy. t:

Yup that was captain stacy they just didnt mention him by name in the episode but if u looked at the credits u see the he had a voice actor i dont remember who off the top of my head.

Ha, no problem. Clancy Brown has really good range with his voices. I already knew he'd be the voice of Captain Stacy weeks ago, but I didn't know he was voicing Rhino as well until recently.

Wow, I never would have suspected - he looks so young! (I'm glad they de-aged him though. 616!Stacy - great as he was - was a little too Grandpa-ish IMO).

I like the timid geek scientist route they're going with him. I guess they're trying to make the change in personality he'll have after he becomes Doc Ock more shocking. Timid scientist to arrogant evil madman.

So far, so good. Right now he doesn't seem like a person who would be an arrogant, evil man. But everything is going to change soon enough, and when it does, get ready for Doctor Octopus!

True...even Aunt May is looking more youthful. But he can't be too old if he isn't retired like his 616 counterpart. And my issue with 616!Stacy wasn't his physical age so much as the vibe he gave off in general: he just seemed more grandfatherly than fatherly.

Because this series is starting right into the first year of Spidey's career; even though we woud like to the deaths of the Gwen Stacy and her father, I doubt it'll happen, or not until he left high school, or his senior year.

I don't know if they can even top the Doc Ock of the 90's.

I grew up with that Ock, and thats how I picture him to sound and act.

I'm not really liking the new Ock because to me he sounds like a little beach.

Clancy Brown is like Mel Blanc. Very talented with his voices.
