They've announced the SDCC Transformers and 1 Star Wars exclusives.

Transformers
-Soundwave reissue with Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, and Ratbat
-Optimus Prime mighty mugg, with a metallic finish

The Optimus Prime Mighty Mugg is exactly the same as the retail one. Save a metallic finish, and will probably cost 50% more. Soundwave has been reissued a bunch of times.

And you have add that a decent shape vintage Soundwave can be had for about the price of a TFC Soundwave/Soundblaster. And that most of his casettes have had illegal Chinese reproductions in the last 5 years.

So in order to throughly murder the joke. Transformers collectors have been complaining that reissusing Soundwave at SDCC is redundant. Why? There are 5 other versions, chances are if you collect TF's you already have at least one and don't need another. The fact that it comes with 2 new casettes is just salt in the wound. I don't share this opinion though.


*Soundblaster is a Japanese exclusive black/red coloured version of Soundwave from the first Japanese only TF series called Headmasters. His tape door was remolded to hold 2 tapes at once.

It looks really good, but I don't see really why I need a third Abomination...Now if it has a repaint to look more like A-Bomb....then maybe....or better yet...a different paint/new head to look like Ch'od of the Starjammer...then yes yes yes,

Why in MS do they do these guys we don't really need.....We need more of the Mephesto/Thanos/Watcher figures like we used to get.
