The CW is a non-factor on TV. They are doing their damnedest to court some sort of teen-early twenties female audience at the expense of making actual entertaining shows. Heck, they canceled Reaper, one of the most fun shows on TV.

I was kind of a fan of the original show, me and my mom bonded over it, Ill give this one a look...I doubt they can find a crazy ***** the caliber of Marcia Cross though....and I thought Reaper was cute, but then I saw the numbers...no one watched the ****ing thing consistently, it had great nights but they could never get that week after week

I never watched the original Melrose Place. I heard Katie Cassidy's character is kind of based on Locklear's original character.

I would not be surprised to see Daphne Zuniga return.....she was at the CW Premiere party, then again, she may have just been there to promote the return of One Tree Hill.

Isn't Melrose Place supposed to be connected to 90210? I know the originals had crossovers or something. I thought the new versions would be connected as well.

I think I read somewhere that Daphne Zuniga and Josie Bisstte were going to be making appearances....

The new versions of 90210 and Melrose Place would have a hard time crossing over because the actress who played Riley (the nerdy director Jonah's fiancee) was also on 90210's first season.

But they have said a crossover may happen down the line, but not as of now.

Oh, I didn't know the actress has played two different characters. That may put a damper on things. I guess I just assumed that the teacher from 90210 would be the one to help jumpstart Melrose Place. I read it somewhere that he would be the one crossing over. But he wasn't even in the second season premiere last night so I'm not sure if he's still in the show.
