The X-continuity at this point is a straight up s***show, but I don't care as long as the movies are good.

I think FoX works based off results. Evan Peters was great now he's a full cast member.

Tim Miller did his thang now he gets more clout.

Please Joshua do the damn thing. New Mutant's are almost as important to me as X-Men & Excalibur I need this movie to be great.

If the roster is any indication, he's off to a good start. I think Fox has gotten the X-Men formula down pretty well.

I also like how Boone is making a horror film before this. Good practice if New Mutants does go into the supernatural like it was originally reported.

Yes I'm very impressed with rumored Magik & Rahne. I just need James & Rose involved in this the idea of a shared universe with my Mutant's is more than I can handle.

I want Gen X too but I totally agree.

I think scrap that team but upgrade Monet & Synch to X-Men status.

I'll always have Jubilee dropping multiple f bombs on the Generation X movie

Wait... [BLACKOUT]Jubilee dies[/BLACKOUT] in Apocalypse?

I don't care about Generation X.

Personally, I only want The New Mutants, X-Force and X-Factor Investigations for the spin-off team movies. Movies for Generation X, Alpha Flight, New X-Men, Young X-Men, Excalibur, Exiles would be pushing it.

Pushing what?

They should do whatever films they think will turn out well.

not every team needs their own films.only films fox should make are

X-men
New Mutants
X-force
Wolverine
Deadpool
Gambit

february's wolverine film will be last solo wolverine film.

IA. It would be ridiculous to have a movie for most of the spinoff groups. They run the risk of oversaturation with all that.

Yeah, I think having X-Factor along with X-Men, New Mutants and X-Force would be overkill.

X-Force could be the R-rated version, plus would feature Deadpool. I know X-Factor has the government angle, but don't know how much more different from the regular X-Men it can be, unless X-Men goes full on cosmic. No Havok, means...who will lead it? Unless JLaw comes back and they do a X-Factor/Freedom Force type thing with Mystique/Quicksilver.

If anything X-factor Investigations can be adapted into a tv series, but I cant see it as a movie. It can be like Angel spinoff from Buffy and feature the B and C listers that likely wouldnt stand a chance in a movie. I can see X-factor (gov't team) modelled after Agents of SHIELD. In both cases, both would be more grounded and less about the heroics and splashy effects that we get with the X-men. That could be a way to differentiate it

Excalibur makes perfect sense in today's era. The majority of super heroes are Euro or Non US Actor's playing American characters. Excalibur would give them a chance to actually portray a non US Hero and could be the first truly International Super Hero Team in the market.

Excalibur is probably a bit tricky, rights wise.

Not really Captain Britain is a tool I wouldn't lose sleep over his lost. Excalibur is one of the God's greatest creations (Chris Claremont). We're getting all his stuff or alot has been done why not use all his best material

Moira McTaggart
Nightcrawler
Colossus
Daytripper
Lila Chaney
Pete Wisdom
Shadowcat
Phoenix II
Dazzler
Longshot
Meggan
Cercise
Sage

A great team could be made from a combination of these characters and would be great to have a truly International team that never stepped foot on us soil

or they can just add a non-American character to the X-films which they've done.

IMO when it came to X-books in the 90s, Excalibur was always the lamest

Vol. 1 ran for 125 issues obviously I wasn't the only one who liked it. That's more issues than New Mutant's Vol. 1 ran for and only 4 less issues than Vol. 1 of X-Force.

NM morphed into X-force. It made no sense for them to still be called New Mutants after 100 issues bc they were no longer new and their entire mission statement had evolved as they were young adults. It really was more like 225 issues of that group (NM 1-100 + X-Force 1-115)

Excalibur was pretty lame until mid 90s when they revamped it into being an international version of the X-men after Onslaught. With that said, it would be redundant to have them exist as their own movie when we already got the X-men. They dont really have their own hook to set them apart. The X-men already feature a group with international students and their adventures take them all over the world (we'll be seeing that in Apocalypse). Several of the characters you mention are already in the X-men films. Theres no need to spin them off into their own thing.

To me, Excalibur is best early when it's Captain Britain meets the X-Men (and has a lovely conundrum of referencing a ton of stories as well-known that the overwhelming majority of the audience had no idea about.

Although it helps I started reading it recently after reading Captain Britain.

To me, I'd prefer Starjammers before Excalibur, although let's see where the New Mutants are focusing. If they're doing magic-type stuff, Excalibur is less needed. If they're not, Excalibur would fit a good void.
