Also, am I the only one thinking how wrong it is that they're starting to use Intel processors on Macs? I mean, just a few weeks ago they started bragging how now you could use Windows on a Mac as an OS. I' seeing a pattern here...

Why is it wrong that Apple recognized best in class hardware (and if you've not seen the technical reviews of the Intel chips they are using in their systems, you should do some reading up) that offered better production consistency and product availability for their systems and made a concerted effort to utilize them? And why is it a bad thing for them to offer the ability for people to use Windows if they need to with a Mac? Many people HAVE to run Windows for various reasons, so they'd never consider buying a Mac otherwise. Now they have a chance to use both operating systems when needed, and let's face it....Mac OS X blows Windows out of the water and Apple is probably betting that the more time people spend with OS X, the less time they'll spend with Windows. I think it's a brilliant move and a great way to bring people into the Mac fold.

I think the new commercials are entertaining, but they're also a bit smug. I'd love to see them get rid of the younger guy from "Waiting" and just let John Hodgkins do the commercials. He could play the converted ex-PC guy who now loves Macs and he's out converting the rest of his PC geek friends, showing them how awesome Macs are.

I use an iBook G4, and those commercials make me hate Macs. They're very snooty, and act as though PC's have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

All the stuff the Mac guy said he could do I can pretty much do with my PC. So I think I'll stick to what I've got.
