1. You begin with a small niche following over a property

2. The property grow, you get proud and talk about it all the time. Get together with like minded fans.

3. Some more things come out and it becomes very mainstream and popular

4. You start hating on it cause it is mainstream and popular and not the small cultish property it was. New mainstream fans not 1337 enough

5. Release something bad, than it gets trashed and you become teH Anti-Fanboy

6. Reboots/restarts, go back to step 1.

Star Wars fanboys are the worst by far. They refuse to admit the new trilogy sucks and are blind to the shocking acting and plot holes. Hell they even think the "worst actor ever" did a good job of Obi Wan Kenobi.

While I am a nerd in the respects of liking videogames and comics I aren't a fanboy. I won't blindly justify things if they are in the wrong. And I won't say everything Nintendo produce is gold.
