yeah, it is. trust me, I am used to overlooking a lot. I try to make the best of things even when they suck. I really, really tried to like that game, especially since I forked over money for it.
The first couple levels of each autobots and decepticons are okay, not great but okay. Then it's all even more downhill from there. It's like they just didn't care, which they didn't since it was a movie game. But the graphics make it look like it's going to be a great game. They deceive my friend.
First of all, you can't pick up ****. You're supposed to be able to pick up things like trees, lamp posts and other ramdom crap. Well when you get close to stuff, you kick it by accident making it a pain to pick up crap. I don't care about not being able to pick up stuff, but there are some villians that the only way you can destroy them is by throwing stuff at them. And that is very, very ****ing frustrating. The villians have chain balls swinging around there heads and you can't get near them so you have to throw crap but you can't really pick up stuff well either.
It is kind of fun driving around and at least you can transform to a robot if you get stuck so you can move and can get unstuck.
But there are some missions that are just way too easy and others that are way too tedious. And then you have to collect all this crap for basically nothing. The "special features" of the game are just specially lame. Not worth hunting down all that crap to get them.
Also, you have missles/lasers/guns whatever, but they barely work. There's not use in shotting stuff b/c most are too resistent and just is a waste of time. You have to punch crap or throw stuff to kill stuff. And the moves are all the same. A basic punch or two and a kick. Wow.
