Would that have been better? lol

¿El queso es podrido, dónde está el cuarto de baño?

Anyways, I've been lurking these boards for years, since 2002 or 2003. Even after I joined in 2005 I've been lurking. Now I wanna get my posts up so I can get a damn avatar, and to get a rep like a lot have done throughout the boards :ninja:

lol hopefully that rotten cheese doesn't come out as it went in! :(

Heh, you definitely understood that one! :woot:

Alas, might you know where I could find an Absorbing Man 2-Pack or just by himself? Can't find that cue ball anywhere :cmad:

BRB, gotta take some paperwork to our office. Friggin' lazy broads gotta have the beefcake do all the walkin'. :cmad:

ebay's probably the best place.. thats where i got mine...

That's where I get most of my stuff. Usually with rare figures they're either easy to find just expensive as hell, or nowhere to find but every once in awhile. Right now I'm hunting for Absorbing Man, Movie Cyke and Movie Nightcrawler. By God those little mofo's are very hard to find, even on eBay. I remember White Gi Ryu being the same way, but now he's easy to find :whatever:

damn i use to see nightcrawler everywhere... lol

but ebay least for me has been good to me lately.. must be because not as many are buying stuff since after the holidays... i just recently scored the variants for spider-woman, captain marvel, and moonknight... all for about $22 a piece (with shipping) i won them all for like 10-12 bucks

Yeah, I remember seeing Movie Mags and Movie Iceman dirt cheap a few years back, when they were rare then as well. Alas, I was only into ML and didn't care much for movie figures. Movie Colossus fig in the upcoming Hasbro line is what inspired me to hunt the rest down.

When it comes to variants I'm preferring Destroyer over Thor Buster Iron man and the Silver Moon Knight over the black one. I remember looking for Toad and he's not that easy to come by anymore either. I know where that ML Toad originated from, but I wonder why the hell they stuck him in the first line of ML?

o god you did? mags and iceman were hard to fine in the states... hard as hell

i think ill like silver more, but i dont have destroyer just yethe should be coming soon though... but i like them both.. esp adding another ironman to my armory...

and toad imo still has one of the most amazing sculpts and paint jobs... out of scale (hes a lil too big) and lack of articualtion though, but many passed him up.. he was the easiest to find at one point... but people passed him up and few series later there like "crap! we need him now"

Toad was part of a line of Movie/Comic two packs that was canned after Wolverine and Maybe Storm were released.....When the time was drawing near for ML1 to be released Dr Doom wasn't ready (I don't think he was ready when they did release him) And they were forced to use the Toad figure that they had.

That was it. Thanks for history lesson :doom:

My comic shop has a Toad in a mangled blister package for $30.

They did release those doll-like versions of Movie/Comic two-packs. I've only seen a Wolverine, Storm and yes, I saw the Toad one too. But these were more like dolls so I'm guessing this cancelled line was different?

Yep...it was a fig line...I think only wolverine made it out....ot maybe he didn't.......The ML3 Wolverine used that Wolveinres Head and torso...which is why ML3 Wolverine is too big.....another histpry lesson

I Miss the 90s....with obscure characters getting made......many different lines going at once putting out new figs all in one scale.....I wish we could get that now...only with ML Quality.

Yeah I did spot Iceman and Mags at normal price in a mall near Rockwall, Texas, stupid me for not getting them! :o

Those were the days, who knew figures would turn out the way they have? I certainly wasn't expecting it. The whole arms and legs only able to move up and down was perfect in my eyes back in the day :oldrazz:
