They still do? Holy crizzap Batman! FTB you gotta snag that for me, I'll pay for it all

When i say mangled i mean mangled. Short story. This guy brings in about 10-12 figures all in the blister but the things are mangled. Like somebody smushed them in their hands. Now, I looked at all these figures, ALL OF THEM, and not a one fig was messed up. But the packages were badly f***ed up. Turns out the guy was either asking for a divorce, forcing one, whatever. So the wifey decides hey, f*** this prick, and grabs his MOC figures and mangles the boxes. I'm talkin' Namor, Human Torch with the 4 on the chest, Trenchcoat Thing, Magneto, Toad, Unmasked blue/yellow Wolvie, 3 different early SMC Spideys in the ML-type blisters, the trasforming SMC Venom, Goliath and Thor. All figs were great, just in MOC mangled to hell blisters. I was sick.

Yeah I did spot Iceman and Mags at normal price in a mall near Rockwall, Texas, stupid me for not getting them!

The X2 Mags from my collection (which I'm trading to Roughneck) and the X2 Iceman I traded to spideyboy both cost me $5 apiece at a toy liquidation store here in Texas.

Damn. Wonder what the hell he did to enforce that upon her besides forcing a divorce? Either way, loose is fine with me [Why let them go to waste afterall]. Are the prices cut too because of that? Cuz I'd get the Toad, Magneto, Namor, Torch with 4, Transforming Venom, hell, all of'em, but mainly those.

Damn. Wonder what the hell he did? Either way, loose is fine with me [Why let them go to waste afterall]. Are the prices cut too because of that? Cuz I'd get the Toad, Magneto, Namor, Torch with 4, Transforming Venom, hell, all of'em, but mainly those.

Thats why they were moderately priced rather than "ebay" priced. I remember about 6 months ago this guy took in his entire MOC collection, he was missing 2 maybe 3 variants (DArk Phoenix, Phasing Ghost Rider and I think Phasing Vision). They had a MOC Toad in a damn nice blister for $65. So $30 for this one isn't bad compared to that but there's no sense keeping it MOC if you buy it. Basically get a ML, sit on it while in its blister, stay there for maybe 10 minutes and you'll get the idea of the shape these blisters are in. Mostly all were $20-25 and Toad was $30. I only glanced at a few priced though so some of the others may be more but I doubt any are more than Toad due to his rarity.

Nah. This was last summer, maybe even before when I found them there. I scored mine, I think another set to trade on fwoosh and maybe a month later the X2 figs were cleaned out. Also got my Nightcrawler for that much there. He's long gone though.

Toad was part of a line of Movie/Comic two packs that was canned after Wolverine and Maybe Storm were released.....When the time was drawing near for ML1 to be released Dr Doom wasn't ready (I don't think he was ready when they did release him) And they were forced to use the Toad figure that they had.

well i saw the wolvie release.. but never saw the storm... wouldnt she have looked marvel legend esque ? like wolvie?

I Miss the 90s....with obscure characters getting made......many different lines going at once putting out new figs all in one scale.....I wish we could get that now...only with ML Quality.

ok toad, goliath, and maskless wolvie i can understand.. but today i could go down to a collector store here and buy... series 2 thing, torch, beast, gambit, punisher, vision, phoenix, and a few other old figs for no more then $20-$25 MOC in PERFECT boxes... not squished ones

True! Remember those X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom figs? Those were like the "inbetweeners" of those old figs and the ones we have today. Although they weren't that great either

the marvel figs.. (at least spidey ) were just repaints... the spidey was the same one was one that came with the exclusive marvels greatest moments 2 pack that was maskless spidey vs green goblin.... rogue i thought was a repaint too.. but her face looks VERY anime

Those 2-packs, that reminds me....there was a Strider fig, hunh?? Damn, I would like a Strider fig nowadays. Strider was a cool looking character.
