i need em all still other then banshee and beast (got em)

umm the variants in this wave are silver arm hulk (the one i want) and then the other is just a packaged variant... and thats ult iron man.. one comes with his mask on, the other off... so its not really a true variant

Yea, so since there are so few actual variants in this line, some secondary market retailers are going crazy to charge more for "variants". I opened a case of HML at on retailer and there was on regular IM with helmet on, and one with it off. But for some reason the helmet off one was a rare variant and thus $20.

wich is dumb cuz its only rare for MOC collectors... cuz if ya open it, you can't tell the difference

I've sen both Ult IMs sitting side by side two times already.

Got Hasbro Doc OCk yesterday. Possibly the best Ock ever, makes me hopeful about Hasbro.

and its torso is like a completely different shade of green them his arms and legs :( the ML one is the best... :)

Yeah, the sculp is the exact same they just put a more Ultimate paint on it even though Ultimate Ock isn't chubby....ML8 ock is the best ock

So I am back......And I got lotsa stuff Yay......I got Throbuste IM, Wasp, Moon Knight, Marvel Archive Collection Archangel wings, three MLX Angels, Bowen Sasquatch, Bowen Snowbird, Bowen Guardian....and I think some other stuff....that was all waiting for me.

And today I bought Mr Terrific, Hawkgirl, Hourman and Dr Midnight.

And in my sister's second Hand store I found and bough the Outrider (Dash Rendar's Spaceship from Shadows of the Empire)

Well .....I've got a lot of comics to read and toys to play with....and there is not one currently here....So I'll be back in a while and hopefully someone will have com by

Man I want Starjammer MLs now more than ever.....after reading uncanny....Actually I want ML15 to be all starjammers, then they would have been better.

This is crazy rough. A few weeks ago you were leaving for a life altering long ass trip and now you're back. And did you even get any action?

Well an Online store....This town has proven a couple times that an actual store will fail.....if It gets big enough I will get a store (mainly just for storage), but until then it's gonna be out of my basement and in the summer once I build the garage, then I will be based out of the garage.

Who wants to hear something really really funny?

So in the USA the price of Hasbro Marvel Legends is more than the price of the Toy Biz Marvel Legends....Right?

Well In Canada the new Hasbro MLs, which are hitting BTW, are actually less than the Toy Biz Marvel Legends were. Is that great or what?

Not including th Cost of the Garage?

$15,000 - $25,000

I am actually going to try for a Government Grant too

This is by Far one of the coolest things that I own hands down

Toys is a tough market, Rough. You're going to need help and a competitive edge.

I know......Advertizing and word of mouth is key *wink wink*

My First step is getting back onto Fwoosh....won;t be hard, I'm getting a new computer, new computer means new IP address....Back on Fwoosh.

I plan on widening my Postingness before the opening, (Meaning more than here, fwoosh and action-figure.com) to really get my name out there.

I will advertize on the net and become a sponsor of a site or two.

I will have good prices.

My Main angle is that I will be a collector selling toys to collectors......I am planning (as of now) to have a straight price accross the board for figs in one line....So if when HML2 comes there is one Quickslver to every four Move Juggs, all five of them will be the same price.

If it comes out of one box then it's one price, the only change on that would be varients that are packed in random cases, like the old MLs when Red Skull was packed in every 40th case....that would cost more, but like the WMML, Bearded Sentry and Burned Wolvie were in every case, so there is no need to charge more for them....

Then end result of that will be me stuck with a bunch of the less wanted figs, and a sale.....

I also plan to go in depth with the figs themselves, y'know what I hate? I hte when you go to some site and beside the figure is a quick blurb of a bio ripped right from Marvel.com.....Well I am going to open one of each and every figure that I get in and I will write up a review and post it beside the figures, good or bad. If a figure sucks ass I will tell folks that it sucks....some will still buy it if they are completists.

I will still take orders from kiddies and silly parents, but my main target will be collectors.....If I fail then I fail, but I tried.

And yes, any help and advice I can get will be greatly appreciated and repayed.

Here's a few problemas, as utopic as that would seem.

If you have one quicksilver to four juggs, and sell them at the same price, you're bound to get stuck with more juggs that no one wants to buy. It's a basic supply and demand thing. You're going to have to sell the more plentiful figures at a lower price and the more scarce ones at a higher price if you want product to move. You will be hurting yourself by going straight across the board. You can offer more reasonable prices on rarer figures like variants (ML15 for example would be a great series to have tons of variants for decent prices) and be fine. But you have to follow supply and demand.

Look at it this way, the comic shop I goes to orders about 10 cases of certain DCD waves that come out. Why? Because they get 10 orders for 1-2 figures out of every case. Pretty dumb right? And they charge the same price for those 1-2 popular figures, even if they're shortpacked. It's an amazing way to cater to customers. But the downside is that now they are loaded beyond imagination with DCD figures that haven't moved in over a year. It's money just wasting away on the pegs. If they sold sets or modified their prices a little better, they'd sell a ton.

I'd ask a few established stores how they do it. Because you can't cater to customers if you go out of business.

That's why I threw the 'As of Now' Stipulation in my original post.........well I will definetaly have better prices on rare and variented figs...I was looking at some of the prices out there and it's insane......I can't believe that people pay that.........I used to pay it.

Well, just remember, if you get 10 preorders on Quicksilver, you have to order 40 juggernauts to fill those orders.
