The "NEW" New Stuff I got Thread.

I guess since I have no real attachment since I never read their store. Is it just a book or do they acutally have a series?


And before I go, I want to say that I got the Superman: Doomsday film and it was great. Very good movie. I hope to see more DC toon films. Same with marvel, but really, I think the Doomsday movie was better than the marvel animated films to date. But it might be because I got the nostalgiac factor from the old Superman TAS.

i dont know what there doing with it, but they have two tpb's out. marvel zombies, and marvel zombies vs the army of darkness.

i saw a trailer for it, cant wait to see it. might even DL it.

Zombies vs AOD was a great storyline. Much more interesting than just the regular Marvel Zombies stuff.

Yeah that's true. That's the only thing that kind of threw me off. They make superman look old. At first, I thought superman was going to die of old age. But if you can get past that, then it's a pretty good story line and worth watching. I thought it was really good. But I've also been working a lot, going to class, and trying to study. So it might just be that I was doing something better than all that stuff by watching the movie.


But I liked it b/c I used to like Superman TAS which it is very similar too.

He's got lines in his checks that come off as looking like wrinkles. It's not too bad. But I wish they would have just used the same superman from the animated show. He was fine. I even think superman's voice was the same, but I'm not entirely sure.

I guess they wanted it to look different than the old show.

To be honest, besides superman looking a little old, the only real beef I had is I wish the guy that did Lex Luthor's voice for the Justice League and Superman TAS would have done it in the movie as well.


Go check out the movie if you like superman at all. It was pretty good. It was cool watching Doomsday beat the crap out of ol' Supes. Plus, it was actually more of a darker movie than I thought it would be. They really tried to gear it more towards adults than kids.

They would have to cast someone that can go from a skinny shmuck to a buffed out stud about the size of the Rock.

Christian Bale could do it as he's nuts about getting into his roles by changing his physique.
