You know what would be kind of cool for that, is if you take a screenshot from that part in the movie and drop the real background in behind him then have your drawn Venom replacing Topher.

I've seen it done in webcomics and such. They usually blur it a bit to make it look somewhat cartoony still.

Watercolor on cold press paper ( was too big to scan so I took a picture, lost some quality and details in the transfer)

I applied the cutout filter on photoshop and sorta liked this variation.
