And it's fine if you cant see Fury beating bats. But unless you share how you see Batman beating Fury your argument doesnt score any points. sorry.

The New Avengers, I picked the group because its one of the few ways Marvel Heroes can take on a DC hero and stand a chance. I mean, seriously DC has some grossly over powered heroes.

I think the Spider-Woman and Spider-Man and Luke Cage would try to keep him distracted while Tony and Steve try and get the shield laced with kryptonite. Tony would probably rewire his repulsor rays to emit Red-Sun beams. (These guys are gonna know the nuances if they've been living in the same universe. heck, he'll probably have told Spidey at some point)

Is Superman's Kryptonite weakness public knowledge in DC? cause it seemed to me like all his enemies kinda had to figure it out themselves. And just cause you live in the same universe doesnt mean you'd know the other person. The only knowledge they'd have of Superman would be public knowledge. the rest they'd have to find out for themselves.

Untill I learn more about the Sentry I cant imagine the New Avengers winning this. The Avengers headquarters is public knowledge. Supes could fly there at the speed of light and take most of the team out before they knew he was there. The Sentry might be able to hold Supes off but I dont know.

Have you ever seen a list of the people just SPIDER-MAN fights beside/with on a regular basis? and i'm talking before he became an Avenger. Plus, both Cap and Tony are the kind of people who will have those kind of documented files on other heroes. plus Peter Parker has said that he has thought of ways to fight other big name heroes.

Stark could make an anti-supes suit, equipped with kryptonite and other cool stuff.

And the deciding factor, Sentry, would seal the deal on a weakened Supes.

The New Avengers with the Sentry would take it I think, especially if the Sentry decides he is part of the team and not just on the cover or in the panels thinking of his psyche.

However, I do not think the new avengers should be able to get their hands on kryptonite. That just makes the battle too easy.

NA with Sentry will take easy. Without Sentry I am leaning towards Superman.

If we're sticking to the Bat family here, I also think he'd call the Birds of Prey or Nightwing for assistance if Fury called in SHIELD

Basically if he's even capable of holding superman off for even just a few minutes then Ironman'd come up with a way to end it. so yeah. New Avengers take it I guess.
