The not a vs but a war thread.

Lets face it. Vaders got numbers but Doom's got some of the best technology in all of Marvel. Whereas starwars technology aside from hyperspace travel is extremely pathetic all things considering.

and throwing storm troopers endlessly at Doom's forces would be akin to sending wave after wave of ******ed midgets at a heavilly fortified modern day military position.
It's easy to say that numbers would win out but i cant really see them overcoming obstacles like piles of dead bodies too high to climb over.

Storm troopers suck. I'm not assuming that they all suck it's been shown. It would be an assumption to assume that some of them dont suck when all you've ever been shown are sucky ones. It doesnt matter how many there are.

Now dont get me wrong i'm not saying that an infinite number of storm troopers could never take Latveria. it's just that it's so strategically stupid that it's hard to comprehend someone choosing that tactic. I would think even the most inept general would take one look at the defenses and decide "okay lets not waste several million soldiers."

And there's another thing to consider. If Vader attacked Latveria on the ground it wouldnt just be Latveria against the Empire.
Do you honestly think the rest of the world would sit back and go "oh it's just dooms country being invaded by aliens. Lets leave things to him"? No they'd most likely unify and assist Doom. All you might see is the empire vs Doom but what they'd see is the Empire vs Earth. And since this is the MU earth that'd likely end badly for the empire.

A prolongued siege of the earth by vader would fail. There's too much power, too much tech and too much brains. I could name a dozen individuals on 616 earth that could rip right through empire ships, find vader and reduce him to a fine red mist.
Were the empire to win Vader'd have to wipe out the entire planet in his first strike. Which between Empire battle cruisers and the Death star he probably could.

But on the other hand Doom's nearly on Strange's level in terms of Sorcery. He could probably pluck Vader right out of his seat aboard the empirial flagship and drop him right into his perfectly planned deathtrap. Think about the way Magic trumps practically everything in comics and tell me Doom stands no chance. I'll call you a liar.

So I'm guessing I should wrap this match up.
Vader has a great deal more resources. Plus his forces are mobile and generally out of reach for counter attack by doom. (for the most part. Doom could probably whip up something given enough time) He could keep doom off balance with wave after wave of ground and air forces or just glass the planet.

There are a ton of ways Doom COULD beat Vader. I'd consider him a fair bit more dangerous but in a war like this Vader's got too many advantages and too many options.
I say this one goes to Vader.

I'm not too familiar with the Hawk, I only know him from the two or three odd comics the wikipedia bio and the cartoons. I vote fist. the Living Weapon beats crazy guy in my book. Plus if you compare resources and allies Danny Rand's filthy rich which gives him an edge. And i doubt Dove could stand up to Luke Cage.

Black Panther's right up there with Reed and Tony and the like in terms of intelligence. I wouldnt count him out in the strategy department at all.

Plus Luthor knows the Justice League far better than he'd know BP. He'd have to take time to learn about Wakanda and BP and what not before he could launch any kind of plan.

And Panther's got plenty of resources. Probably a hell of a lot more than Luthor does.

No worries man. You'll get em next time.

And all matches unless otherwise specified are as the characters were last seen. So if Luthor is currently president of the USA then yes he's the pres (I'm not up to date on most DC characters)
If a character is dead then consider him as he was last seen alive. If the character is presently in prison or banished in an alternate dimension or something then treat it as if they just got back literally 1 second before the match. And each war starts with the oponents in their respective homes or headquarters'.
In the case of crossover battles for the time in question the two crossover worlds have temporarilly become one (So Gotham, Metropolis etc are included in the same earth as Wakanda, Latveria etc.) But the characters only have knowledge of their opponent that is publicly available unless they've met in previous crossovers.

Okay this one's sorta based on a request someone sent me. It's a little more scenario specific than the others but here we go anyway.

It's divided into teams. consisting of:

Aliens. A hive consisting of 1 Queen, 2 praetorians, 50 warriors & 200 drones.

VS

Predators: A Hunting party of 12 experienced hunters. With One ship (like the one seen in predator 2)

VS

The Symbiotes:

Venom

Carnage

and

Toxin

Vs

Weapon X members:

Wolverine

Sabertooth

Maverick, Wraith and Silverfox.

Whew! got em all in. Now the scenario is the Alien Hive is in south america somewhere. The Predators, symbiotes and weapon x are all in various places in the region and are trying to kill each other.
Now Also note: for the aliens to lose they have to lose their queen and their ability to reproduce. there can be surviving aliens and they can still lose. Also if the predators lose their ship (which is in orbit) and are stranded on earth they would also lose. For the symbiotes, if all the hosts or the symbiotes die they lose.

theres more member of Weapon X than 2, why not include the others so they might actually have a chance of surviving.

What about if the symbiotes attempt to bond with the aliens or predators?

Thats fine. But if brock, Cassady and that cop guy die then the symbiotes lose. So they'd likely wanna stick around and protect their hosts.

It will be a good damn fight and a survival of the fittest! With the technology the Predators are caring I think they have the upper hand of the bunch. Although Aliens are alot, they are basically the Predator's pets. So been old rivals, they will know each others weakness. The Predators find the Queen to end her miserable days. On to a new target, Weapon X. Now this wont be easy for the Predators since they are going againts mutants who can do what they do but better. With the likes of Wolverine and Sabertooth the stealth option won't do the Predators any good. While they are duking it out the Symbiotes join in on the fun to have an all out war. With Carnage, Venom and Toxin working as a team I think Weapon X is outmatched. Predators won't be to much trouble for the Symbiotes.

In the end after a long fight battle, I give it to Toxin, Carnage and Venom.
