FF XVI was extremely, extremely frontloaded in sales. Not even releasing later on other platforms is helping.

Going from 3 million in week 1 to 3.5 million almost 2 years later is a very weak tail.
There were things I liked about the game (most of the story and consistency and polish) and things I was meh on (battle system) or didn’t like (lame side quests, no traditional caves and dungeon exploring like even FF XV had, halfassed equipment and upgrade system, the ending). I don’t rate it among the best FF games.
