I thought season 6 was pretty interesting! You had Jacks dad and all his stuff, Terrorist on trains being kicked out of windows, Logan being an *******.

I rank season 6 pretty high (might have been season 5 which i found pretty boring)

And so far with the first 4 im liking how the story is shaping up for this years

They did such a thing with Sarah's head in a box, in Prison Break but it came off as being a really cheap attempt to bring her back. There's NO way in Hell Palmer is alive....................and no creative team in the world could write around it!

I think you are thinking of season 4. Season 5 is when David Palmer and Michelle Dessler are assassinated and President Logan is involved.. Nerve gas released in CTU

Yeah.. That was kind of heartbreaking. The security guards death as well.. I didn't really care about the Hobbit that much.

You know i even forgot Sean Aston was in 24! thats how much of an impact his character made!

I really liked Season 4. It's what really got me back into the show. I had given up on season 3 about halfway through (which, of course, was right when that season started getting really good), and wasn't thinking much about 24.

Then season 5 came along and kicked all sorts of ass.

Then season 6 came along and kicked all sorts of ass...for four episodes.

I do hold a higher opinion of season 6 then it seems most do. I though it was good for the first six or seven episodes before getting muddled. And thought the last 4 or so episodes had put the show back on track. And every week, I was still looking forward to seeing what would happen next. But it lost its way.

Here's hoping that an 18 month break gets us back to where we know this show can be.

Besides that. Dennis is under contract on another show. That's the main thing people have to understand.

So season 7's off to a VERY good start! New characters are great. Can't wait for that Jack/Tony sitdown.

BTW, I know it's WAY too early for this, but I actually wouldn't mind if the season ended with Jack going to jail, having patched things up with Kim. Then on season 8 they could do something like Splinter Cell: Double Agent. That'd be awesome.

Yes to both of those. I remember watching season 3 not liking any of the new characters (especially Chloe at the time, but I now love her and consider her one of THE 24 characters) and being uncertain, but then all of a sudden it just went on a roll the second half of the season. I still don't know if I've seen a season of a show rebound as well as 24 season 3. Lost season 3 os pretty close.

Well, he did only get shot through the throat. But we saw him die. We saw the body. Jack saw the body.

Still, the Tony/Jack interrogation was amazingly intense. The "I'll kill you and you'll stay dead this time," line works even better when it follows up, "EVERY SECOND YOU'RE WORKING FOR THEM YOU'RE SPITTING ON TERI'S GRAVE!"
