Man this isn't like the spidey 3 hype where we had something to talk about all the time. Ah well

You can't compare the marketing of the third installment of a hugely successful trilogy to the first of a franchise that's being questionably rebooted...

Four weeks? Time's passing by fairly quick for me.
I'm finding that too. This place will be buzzing when the trailer hits. We'll get a really good idea as to what the film will feel like. I'm expecting something tight, focused and a bit more serious. Having one villain and not three does that.

More serious? Holy ****. The first trailer was pretty damn serious. Or did you mean in comparison to SM3?

I think, and hope, they were talking in reference to SM3. With the origin, and a more grounded/serious/character driven take... AND The Lizard as the "primary" (only other than possibly establishing some other characters for villain roles down the road) villain, and with Connor's story being so compelling and lending itself to a character driven as well as action/suspense.....

I am truly stoked for this film.

Even though SM3 was §$%$:cmad:, the trailer for SM3 was EPIC!

I'm dying for some quips in the trailer. Even if it's just one really hilarious one. Heck, they all should be hilarious!

You guys think they might put one of the Comic-Con quips in the trailer?

I personally don't want to hear any quips in the trailer, save it for the actual film. After SM3 being one big laugh, the last thing that this trailer needs is dodo jokes on the run.

I have a feeling this trailer might have one or two quips. Seeing as a lot of the reaction in youtube for the first trailer was that it was too dark and all. I know, those people are mostly just dumb. But you need dumb trailers to impress dumb people. Why else does Micheal Bay always make money?

I'm the most patientest person in the world! Give me the trailer now!

Yes sir!! Here ya go!

They need to put at least one in there so people who don't follow the movie closely will stop whining. I don't want them to make it look like a comedy, but I think putting at least one quip in the trailer would better represent the movie than another totally serious trailer. Misrepresenting this movie is the worst thing they could do after they did so with S-M3.

By the by, what is a dodo joke? I wasn't aware extinct birds could be so comedic.

No thanks to quips in the trailer. Save it for the movie. I always cringe at jokes during trailers unless the film is supposed to be a comedy. I hated the jokes in the Avengers trailer. Just save them for comic relief. We don't need comic relief in a 2 minute trailer.
