Did you guys see my Spider-Man origin film idea I posted earlier?

A fan is a fan :)
INdeed, lol.

Seeing the first SPider-Man film in the theater is an experience unlike any other, if you ask me. I had never seen a live action, true to the comic SPider-Man adaption, so I was ready to be blown away and I REALLY REALLY was.

What really pushed me into spidey lore was the ps1 game and the spiderman encyclopedia I got when I was 6.

Nice, lol. I was a fan of the comcis and the previous aniamted incarnations before the firt film came out. The Nicholas Hammond show was not a good live action adaption, IMO, I really was ready to see my favorite superhero that I read in the comics finally put onto the big screen. And Sam Raimi did that wonderuflly, IMO.

I think the first spidey films (spider-man and TASM) will always be speacial because the studios heavily focus on trying to get as much spidey in them as possible.
Which Is why sam raimi got more freedom in 2 and 3 and I think webb will receive the same freedom once TASM is done with.

sm2 is more comparable to sm3 by an overall feel of the movies, with the cheesey stuff.
What I mean is that the sequels feel more "Raimi" compared to the first.

My proposal would be titled Peter Parker, and it would be radically different in structure from the prior film presentations of Spider-Man's origin.

It primarily focuses on the period in Peter's life in which his career in showbiz takes place, from his first wrestling match to Uncle Ben's death and Peter's confrontation with the Burglar.
It's a character study of Peter Parker as his powers change him from being a nerd to being a media sensation and celebrity as Spider-Man.
The fame goes to his head, and he becomes arrogant, and in his arrogance, allows the Burglar to get away, a decision that changes the course of the rest of his life. He discovers his Uncle Ben has been murdered, and confronts the killer to find out that he is the same crook he let get away. He remembers the famous mantra, and renounces his celebrity status to be a superhero to atone for his great mistake.
What do you think?

At first, TSSM was just a "pass the time" show for me, but after the last episode [not knowing at that time, that it was the last episode] I became more interested in Spider-Man. After that, I saw Spider-Man 3 on tv, and I think that's really how I became a Spidey fan.

Oh so your a recent fan :)

It is. Let's see. I've been a fan for 12 years.... :wow: (realization kicks in)

I probably have the craziest story to tell of how I became a fan. I was 9 years old when I first started watching the 90's Spider-man TAS, it was on my birthday (fun fact, my birthday is on the 3rd of July ^^) A spider crawled on the tv and stopped on the monitor for the entire time the episode was running and when the episode finished it just dissapeared,Up until this day I don't know if I just imagined that, or if it was really there. so after that day I became a spidy fan

You should have let that spider bite you.

reminds me of the email i sent to marvel that got published in one of the Spider-Island issues. told them how my house was basically Spider-Island and i was seeing spiders EVERYWHERE. they suggested i let one bite me and hope for the best lol

Yes. Im 16, so I was a fan since I was four. Very dedicated lol. Spidey isn't a phase like batman or iron man are to me. Spideys for life!!
