Bump for the new page ... DP up 2-0!

i do like deathstroke a lot, but I have to go with one of my other favorites on this one, the nigh unkillable merc with a mouth.

Taskmaster will be able to copy certain moves that Deadpool and Deathstroke throw out--true--but there are problems considering his to opponents:

1) Deadpool will be unpredictable should he have any brief moments of insanity and such and he has the healing factor to help against Taskmaster.

2) Deathstroke will be really hard to keep up with considering he could use it against him. He could use certain moves with one fighting style and then choose the best fighting style to counter it before Taskmaster can start copying him again.

So I would think Taskmaster would be the first down.

I think Deadpool's little mental problems will kick in every now and then in the fight. His little teleporation device will not be much use considering they are in the chamber. I could see him losing to Deathstroke. One of the key things is that Deathstroke would be 10 steps ahead and wouldn't have to deal with ADD or slight moments of insanity like Deadpool. He will be able to remain focused and use Deadpools mental weaknesses against him. Deathstroke's brain functions like 90% faster more effecient than usual people and since they both have basically same powers but somewhat different fighting skill/style I see Deathstroke being the victor.

So...for the short and sweet version: Deathstroke wins. Prep time isn't available since they are thrown into the chamber, but Deathstroke still has the edge with his type of intelligence. He would use both Taskmaster's best and Deadpool's worst against them.

I say Deadpool, even thou trusty is right about the fact Deadpool has the mental weakness disadvantage, his inpredictibility would confuse Deathstroke to a point where he (by mere luck) would win. Wade Wilson takes out Slade Wilson on this one...

I think that superior speed and strength would be the deciding factor and that means Deathstroke. Unpredictibility would not likely be a factor in this kind of a fight.

I see Deadpool being the first one down...I say down because while he may not be able to be killed, he can be incapacitated; and I think Deathstroke would do that.

Between Taskmaster and Deathstroke...I think it's a toss up. Deathstroke is definitely the better of the two in the mental department but I think Tasky's got too many styles to work with.

Gotta throw my vote to Taskmaster though it looks like I'm the serious minority here.

The unpredictibility part had to do with Deadpool against Taskmaster. I only mentioned Deadpool being unpredictable versus Taskmaster since Taskmaster is known for copying his opponents moves and styles; basically making his photogenic memory not help him at all. That does not mean that because of the unpredicatble actions Deadpool could take that he outright beats Taskmaster. That just means that it removes Taskmaster's only true advantage.

Deadpool's unpredictibility versus Deathstroke is another story. If Deadpool were to become very angry and insane, after a little while of fighting him, Deathstroke would still be able to predict several outcomes for each of Deadpool's attacks; this would allow him to quickly develop the best and most effective ways to counter-attack each scenario he comes up with judging by how the battle has been going so far. Do not forget, Deathstroke's brain functions 90% faster and more effiecient than normal humans. So when you have a tactical genius, who basically always has prep time no matter how short because of his intellect, versus someone who is mentally unstable and can lose control, it is pretty obvious Slade would use Deadpool's weakness against him by taking advantage of those opportunities.

you actually make a good point, I'll change my vote to Slade Wilson

THE CHAMBER HAS SPOKEN!

The Votes are in (with one changed making the difference!)

DeathStroke 6 to Deadpool 4 to Taskmaster 1

"The Three combatants appear and Deathstroke drops a series of smoke bombs that obscure his location, with Deadpool firing wildly and tossing a knife while leaping off the wall that catches the Taskmaster in the eye and stops him ..."

"Deadpool rolls and lobs a series of grenades knowing that he will most likely be killed as well as Deathstroke in the confined space of the Chamber, when Deathstroke suddenly appears leaping over him, blocking his blade and deflecting his gun salvo with a shot of his own, dropping behind Deadpool and using his body as a shield as the series of explosions rocks the chamber and rips Deadpool up ..."

"The two bloody opponents are down to blades now, thrust and parries slicing deep, blood flowing from multiple wounds from the vicious attacks ..."

"Deadpool bounces off the wall and twists around to land the killing blow, but Deathstroke has been waiting patiently for such a move and slips under Deadpool, his own blade catching the spinning Deadpool in the stomach and ripping him wide open ... blood and guts flowing everywhere, beyond the ability of Deadpools recuperative power to fix rapidly ... weakened and dazed he drops and rolls, standing barely upright to take a defensive pose ..."

"Slade slides in and blocking the twisting swords, his own wounds flowing, he catches Wades arms and delivers a series of crushing headbutts ... breaking free for a split second and dropping to cleave Deadpool's head clean off!"

Deathstroke after a bloody and long battle in the chamber ... 56 minutes.
