Cap, twice the strength and the shield. Since they both have prep time Cap can load up on gadget and weapons as well. Shield, Stark, and Richards generally have better toys than Bats does.

Am I the only one bugged by the prep time that's been recently added these last few matches? I didn't notice this before when first bringing it up, but it also ruins the idea of them being dropped with their standard weapons for some characters. Plus, shouldn't they be oblivious to what can and cannot work in the Chamber as far as tactics?

I don't think prep time means much in the chamber. They only have their standard weapons and neither guy can go in the chamber and lay traps or prepare the area. All they can really do is think about how they would fight their opponant but they can't even be sure how their opponant will fight them so really all they can do is come up with a very lose basic strategy.

TSK ... the Chamber has always had one hour prep time. The idea is that for some characters they plan strategy and how to use the weapons they have -- ie Green Arrow or others who have a variety of weapons to choose from as far as their "standard" weapons.

The idea of prep time was clarified as some battles drop individuals in with no time to prepare and thus it is somewhat of an advantage to those who do not rely on strategy.

The thing is if someone does not have any special weapons, the only thing the prep time does is allow them to try and plan a strategy (but since it all goes by votes it may not matter anyways.)

An example -- Robin vs. Green Arrow.

Would the match be different with or without prep time? :yay:

WOWZERS!

Captain America takes it 8 -1 :wow:

After the level of interest from the Bat-fans in another thread I am amazed that this was the outcome!

Perhaps the Chambermeister needs to give it til tomorrow at 8 am to see if the vote swings?

I know I was delayed in getting it up but holy cow that is a little crazy ...

Well. I will give a 24 hour reprieve to Bruce and see if he is going to go down so easily ...

Cap. His enhanced physical abilities, coupled with the foresight to hold his breath initially give him the win, IMO.

EDIT: Man! I thought I was too late for a minute, there...

Captain America takes the win 9-1! :wow:

Are the chamberites heavy Marvel fans? Does DC have a Chance in the final Chamber competition? Holy Huge Losses BATMAN!

"The Two combatants appear and Batman immediately rolls to avoid the tossed shield, tossing an explosive batarang behind Cap, but he is also rolling and moving, twisting away and snatching up his shield in the air, pulling it in front of him to avoid the net rope that Batman has fired ... closing the distance and dropping on top of Batman!"

"Bruce kicks and chops but he can't seem to bring the Captain down, who waits and then slams the shield down on Bruce's head, stunning him, allowing Steve to twist and slicing the shield into Batman's throat, it slices through Bruce's protective neck piece and cleaving his head CLEAN OFF! :wow: "

Cap in a short and sweet victory over the bat!

The CHAMBER IS RELOADING!

Steel easily.
Question
Batman
This is the tuff one. Aquamans hide can resist being crushed at the deepest depths of the sea so it should be nearly inpenatrable to normal weapons but DC doesn't really write him that way and have never clearly defined how tuff his skin is. He's got the strength, speed and a magic hand. Ollie's probably got a trick arrow or two that will have some effect if the normal tips don't but I think I'll go with Aquaman.
Sgt Rock
Black Canary

THE CHAMBER HAS SPOKEN!

Well loyal chamberites, the results are in!

Steel 6 to Nightwing 2
Hitman 2 to The Question 6
Batman tames the Wildcat 8-0!
Green Arrow misses Aquaman 2-6!
SGT Rock cages the Huntress with an unexpected 7-1 win! (Go Easy Co.!)
Black Canary cages Robin 7-1

So ... the chamber is loading the next round;

But for your consideration I would love your input since the chamber is really about you faithful voters.

The questions are:

Vote time - 24 hours is still good? (sorry for some delays)
Do you want the pictures for the matches?
Do you want bio links for the characters?

And lastly ... do you want my description of the battles or not?

Thanks all for your consideration!

THE CHAMBER IS RELOADING!

24 hours is good for me. If I'm not around then I'll just miss one battle it's alright.
I like the pictures, it's always nice but maybe it's too much trouble for you.
Bio links could be useful for people like me because I don't always know everything about all the characters.

So do you guys like the descriptions after the votes as well?

Thanks for the input!

Thanks Diable ... and all of you.

I enjoy the voting and the unknown outcomes.

I will be glad to get myself organized and have the pics and descriptions from now on.

CR. :ghost:

PS -- watch for the SNE ... it will be interesting!

It's okay if you can't have pics every time though. I understand it takes longer.
