It's a shame that a lot of you are ignorant of Ash's true powers. I mean, he's basically invunerable on account of dealing with the spirits of the Necronomicon. So yeah, he kicks more ass than you give him credit for.

I am going by my recollections of the movies and the wiki listing which shows he has the chainsaw, shotgun and ingenuity.

As for being invulnerable ... perhaps Ash J. can add some reference to that; otherwise we stick with the movie version who still kicks some serious a** ...

This is where it pays to read the comics. Either way, his chainsaw never runs out of gas and his shotgun has unlimited ammo. In the comics, after dealing with the Necronomicon for a number times, he gets the benefit of it and I guess the Kandarian spirits' powers kinda transfer over to him or something, seeing as he is The Chosen One and all that.
