That's NOT cool. At all. :o

Anyone get the Details mag with McAvoy/Fassy? I've been to 2 different magazine shops and a couple of grocery stores and all the covers are Fassy. Poor James! :csad:

Well, maybe all the McAvoy covers were sold out and only the Fassbender ones remained? :oldrazz:

Anyway, I'll only buy one if I can find a McAvoy cover. Are you listening, Details? :cmad:

I went into another supermarket today and the 8 cover are all Fassy.

I asked a friend of mine who lives in the US and she said she's having the same problem. :(

I'm starting to wonder if they lied when they said that two different covers were released. Unless, since it's a June/July issue, they are going to send to stores the James' cover later in June...

I'm pretty sure they released both. It's just dependent on the individual magazine chains which cover they requested. Same deal with the Empire covers where I'm sure the majority are of Wolverine and only a few (read: rarer/more collectible) are of characters like Rogue, et al.

No, I don't think that's the case. I doubt big supermaket chains and enormous airport magazine stands would bother requesting 70% Fassbender or 30% McAvoy. With the huge volume of mags they have to deal with daily it's not like they would care much about who is on the cover - I bet the majority doesn't even know there are two different covers.
I'm pretty sure Details is to blame on the issue. A friend of mine tweeted them questioning the lack of McAvoy covers and they didn't even answer back, which is quite telling.

Meanwhile, overpriced McAvoy covers can be found at ebay... :csad:

X-Men: Days of Future Past
Mutant Destiny
Article by Joe Fordham

Director Bryan Singer returns to the Marvel X-Men franchise in a time-traveling adventure wherein Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) journeys from an apocalyptic future to 1973 to reunite his youthful mentor Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and his nemesis Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in a war against the progenitor of a future mutant aggressor. Visual effects supervisor Richard Stammers and special effects supervisor Cameron Waldbauer conjured mutant mayhem with Legacy Effects, and visual effects vendors including MPC, Digital Domain, Rising Sun Pictures, Rhythm & Hues, Mokko Studios, Fuel VFX, Vision Globale, The Third Floor and more.

NOTE: Cinefex readers had the opportunity to vote for the current cover. Dawn obviously won the poll (48.94%) but it's interesting that DOFP (31.24%) got nearly twice as much votes as Guardians of The Galaxy(17.2%).

Great finds Retroman. Looks like a new Storm image on that first cover.

That mag spread has some of the best poses for the characters by far. Why are we just now seeing these?
