Sounds like it's probably a remastered port of the 3DS remake if anything.

I’ve played a bit of the remake of 3 and it’s incredibly annoying. I don’t know if I have a defective copy but every time I start up the game it keeps taking me back to that stupid intro where a disembodied voice asks me my real name and my favorite color and a bunch of other nonsense. I’m eventually able to pick back up where I left off but having to do this constantly makes me not even want to play it. Has this happened to anyone else?

It’s weird because it is saving the game but I have to keep restarting it before I can go back to point I progressed to
