Started this game about 3 hours ago, just finished the library and stoppe dfor the night as I was entering the loading dock at the museum. Defientely loving this game. I'm really surprised at how creepy it is. I was so on edge during the library stage.

this game is awesome. A lot of fun, and i've jumped a couple of times.

Pat, your so right about the stage where you're seperated from the crew. It was so much fun.

Bout to battle with Stay Puft.

Haha. Theres a few instances where you are separated and it sounds as if you aren't to the particular level I'm talking about. Its really frightening. Really great stuff.

Yes it is. This is the best game experience iv ever had, ever.

So has anyone reached the level titled
Return to Hotel Sedgewick

Really, really creepy stuff there. Absolutely love this game.

Yeah.....I didn't like it because i frikking hate [blackout]spiders[/blackout]

but I loved it cause it was Ghostbusters....I have a level and a half left.....I put it down cause I didn't want to finish it in one day

Can anyone outline the plot of the game? We've been given bits and pieces here and there, but I'd like to know what the full storyline is about.

This game is incredibly fun/funny a little bit more panic inducing/creepier then I thought it would be. Can't wait to play more.

I like Venkmens (sp?) comment in the Sedgewick

When you capture Slimer and he says something along the lines of "Thats what you get when you slime me. That makes me the man who captured him and by extension you."

I played up until the library mission last night. Man, it really does set you right in the world of the Ghostbusters. I turned off the reticle like ProjectPat mentioned and I've been going by the indicators on the proton pack itself. It makes things a little bit tougher but it's not bad when you get used to it and it enhances the feel of the game a lot. Now my eyes can judge where the stream is gonna go pretty well without the reticle.

The only drawback so far for me is Ilyssa (or however you spell her name). She seems like a really boring, wooden character. Hopefully she'll improve as the game progresses, though.

Oh, and I did get a code for the blue-gray flight suit, but it didn't work when I entered it. The card said "while supplies last," so I guess the supplies ran out by the time I checked Live this morning.

I'm in Central Park. Last level! And can't figure out where specifically I'm supposed to shoot the slime tether when you first get there.:o

EDIT: Found it.

He says "that will teach him not to slime me....and by extension you"

Yeah, I actually laughed out loud at that line. I know they said in some reviews Bill Murray sounded like he was playing Bill Murray who was playing Peter Venkman. I think he sounds like he used to or at least has the same personality.

I love when Stay-Puft is climbing the side of the building and Venkman's comment is something like, "I'm impressed with his agility." Perfect dry non-sequitur. :D

Are the achievements stackable? I see there's a Casual/Experienced and a Professional. Or does the Professional open up only after you beat it on Experienced?

Question: Does the capture stream always activate once the ghost is worn down or do I have to manually do it? I'm early in the game and so far it seems like it does it on its own, so why have a button for it?

You can do either or....in some cases you'll need to use the capture stream seperately to yank things away

What tells you its time to manually activate it on a ghost? I like doing it that way. Makes me feel more in control.

when the little green circle around your reticle is gone....the ghost will also slow down a bit

In my experience, the capture stream will have automatically activated by the time the green circle is completely gone. Usually the capture stream activates when the circle's got 2 or 3 wedges left.

Cool. Just captured the Fisherman ghost so I'm very early on but damn i'm loving this.
