The place I work at has two buildings located about a mile away from each other and I have to run mail between them every afternoon. Today I made a trip to the Gamestop a few more miles away while I was at it and bought the Ghostbusters game. There was a really nice guy at Gamestop who threw in a Ghostbusters t-shirt even though I hadn't pre-ordered it, too. Can't wait to race home through traffic to play it.

Awesome dude! Did you also get the unlockable flight suit? It should be packed inside the game. I wish Live werent down so i could punch in my code to download it.

I just picked up my copies and, in case anyone was wondering, The Stay Puff figure from Gamecrazy was actually just a small stress toy. Like, really small.

Also, as far as that Lens Of Truth thing earlier, after playing the PS3 version for awhile and it does not just support 480p, in fact it's one of the few games that seem to support native full 1080p and my TV's setting said it was running 1080p. I can't say for 360 vs PS3 version or anything, but what I played looked much better than the PS3 side in that head-to-head. I especially paid attention in the basement where, in the video, it looked very dull. When I played it looked okay to me, there was shadow and everything looked fine. So, yeah, for any potential PS3 owners that Lens Of Truth video seems to be inaccurate to me, which is good since the PS3 version in that video was really lacking. However, IGN was right this time around, embers are not there

Anyway, moving on, I played up until Stay Puff and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Really like playing the GBII suit in the game, looked really cool . The only shirt they had was XL and it engulfs me, but that's ok I guess

Hmm, well it's good that the PS3 thing has been put to bed, then. I got it for the 360 just to be safe (but if it's any consolation, I pre-ordered Arkham Asylum for the PS3 while I was there).

Lol, well it's no consolation to me, but the PS3 version in that Lens Of Truth looked very lacking compared to the 360 one, I mean like 'may need a patch later' lacking, like Fallout 3 on the PS3

Yeah, it was pretty terrible. I bet Lens of Truth is gonna get loads of angry letters from PS3 owners now.

Hah, yeah, but I'd say that was their intention, probably get them a lot more hits. I guess in their defense, maybe there was some faulty hardware and/or software on their side that caused the game not to display in the correct resolution. Or maybe I've done something to optimize and upscale on my PS3 settings and forgot or something

I know that mine wasn't that bad, unless I'm really that horrible at comparison. Which is possible

Yea, but i think the first or so shipments of the game comes with it. If you look at the front of the case, there will be a little insignia saying you get a Gamestop exclusive. I mean when i went to pick mine up, the dude just reached in a box and pulled one out.

Eh, you arent missing much on the embers, they dont really look like embers.

How do you equip the alt costume? Do you go into Extras or something? I haven't been able to download mine as Live is down for maintenance.

You should've ordered through Play or ShopTo... both have dispatched some today with others following tomorrow. You'd have it on Thursday.

Yeah, you just go to Extras and turn Gray Suit on.

I've been excited for this game since last year when I heard it was coming out, can't wait to pick it up. Will probably head over to Gamestop on my lunch hour tommorow.

Gonna pick this up at Toys R Us tomorrow. Get a $20 gift card and probably pick up another game to get 10% off that. Rather get $20 and save some money than get the preorder junk.

You need to ask yourself 2 questions.

Am i a fan of Ghostbusters?
Am i fan of fun, creepy, atmospheric games?

If you answer yes to any of these, you need to buy this game and do it immediately. Its fantastic. As a fan, you just cant ask for anything more. This has it all. Its just a fantastic well made game that features some of films greatest characters and scenarios. I am surprised at how truly creepy this game is. I wont spoil anything, but there is a time when you are separated from the group and the following stage will have you on edge the whole way through. I highly suggest cutting out the lights and turning up the sound. I'm about 9 hours in and I'm on the final stage and its just been a FANTASTIC ride, absolutely fantastic.

As for any exclusives, i think the PS3 has a trailer for the Blu Ray and a little featured called restoring the Ecto 1 which is included with the Blu Ray. Other than that, there is nothing that really separates the two. Which ever system you use for online gameplay, get the game for that system.

this game is awesome. A lot of fun, and i've jumped a couple of times.

Pat, your so right about the stage where you're seperated from the crew. It was so much fun.
