Haha, well I get off work at around 8:30 tomorrow, I'ma check Fandango afterwards and buy them then if I'm going for sure.

Got mine last night. 7:30, Friday night.

Done and did for the 12:01 showing. Oh yeah. Laissez le bon temps rouler!

AW!!! I want mine!!! I'll go buy them tomorrow noon, which is in about 13 hours. I need to embrace them.

12:01 showing. The lady at the box office asked if I wanted that time or tickets to the 12:03 showing and I gave her a look to let her know how crazy it was of her to ask.

Some people just don't understand.

But yeah. I'm there.

I am an employee at a movie theatre and I have no desire of giving Fox any money. But why pay when I can watch it for free? :oldrazz::hehe:

Although Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, and Transformers will be getting my money. :oldrazz:

Don't need tickets.. :D

and...I just saw it anyway. :p

But, I'll be watching it again tomorrow most likely anyway.

So is this thread gonna be "Official" for let's say- The next 23 hours or so?

:hehe:

Yea? Well I saw it a month ago.

I can't wait. Very exciting to know that at this time tomorrow I will be sitting in the theaters watching this movie!

Yeah. I mean, I hated the flick, but i'm not going to blast people for wanting to see it. Or even enjoying it. Too each his/her own yanno?

Yes, plenty of people still want to see the film.

No, no one here is a Fox plant. :whatever:

According to an article I read yesterday, the movie had 65% of Fandango's ticket sales, which apparently is quite strong, and several other articles also say it is tracking well.

I'm not going to a midnight show either.

I think it's going to do just fine this weekend (both here and overseas), and Star Trek will flatten it next weekend. No surprises there.

Be careful, Sunrise...there's no need to come in here and harass people because they want to see the movie.

There you go accusing me of something I didn't do just so you can find something to punish me about. Look I am not harassing anyone nor is it my intentions. I am sincerely interested in the mindset of fans as to how they can give Fox their money after all the crap they've done.

I mean I look at it like this. You and a lot of posters hate the SAW films, I love them, and I don't have a problem with that. Nor am I trying to make it seem like I'm better than anyone. What I do have a problem with is people who have a difference of opinion regarding the content of this film, the characters, and Fox we're labeled as "whiners", "loser fanboys", or "you're just looking to complain about anything". Is that fair just because we have a different opinion?

I just don't see how Fox deserves any kind of money or rewards in general after the stunts they've pulled in the past and present, and possibly in the future.

I'm not blasting anyone. I'm just wanting to understand the mindset of some of the posters and why Fox is getting their money. If they hate the movie then they lost money, right? So I'm just interested in hearing their reasons so I can understand it better.

And then you were accusing them of being Fox plants. :whatever:

People want to see the movie for whatever reasons they want. Why don't we try respecting that?

Perhaps Fox plants is too strong of word Danoyse. People do want to see the film and I understand that, plus I do respect that. But you didn't answer my question as to how certain people can get away with insulting others, snapping at others, and name call because someone disagrees with their views IN THIS FORUM.

Yet if I say anything all of a sudden a mod comes in to try and make it seem like I'm the bad guy. How is that fair? All I wanted was an honest answer and assessment as to how ANY comic fan can give Fox their money.

Foe those of you who saw the leak leak and want to shed some light on the film and hook up the fan base and people with hard earned dollars, please speak now or forever hold your peace. Let me help the process.

Is X-men Origins close to the books or is it the "H-wood screw the fans. We're gonna give you the WOOD treatment. We're gonna give you what we wan you to see, and you're gonna pay while being played".

Yay or nay?

No one is calling you names, Sunrise. :whatever:

You came in here and accused people of being Fox plants because they want to see the movie. That's insulting and unnecessary and not the reason Nell started this thread. Don't make it all about you.

No one name called me in this thread. But saw that particular behavior in another thread involving this film and nothing was done, yet, I say something and all of a sudden its the end of the world because I'm the bad guy. Whatever. :whatever:

I haven't seen the film, but from what I gather it seems more along the lines of a Hollywood made film rather than remaining close to the books. Although I'm not sure if spoilers can still be discussed here, but there was a scene that was described and how it's completely different than from what we've seen before.

But I'm not going to say anything until it's approved that spoiler talk is okay.

I picked up my ticket yesterday for tonight's midnight show and picked up this little gem to wear for the occasion, it's gonna be a fun night!!!:wolverine:up:

I bought 3 tickets yesterday for the midnight showing tonight!

I asked the lady who sold me the tickets if a lot of tickets had been sold yet for the midnight show, and she said that I was actually the FIRST! hahaha

All I know is that Fox has done right by the X-Men franchise in my book. I've enjoyed all three films on some level. X2 being the classic. If I feel that way, why wouldn't I support that? I also look around at the movie landscape and only see ONE Marvel character hitting in big screen this year. I actually thank Fox for beating the writers strike and giving me something to enjoy in 2009. I also would love to see Magneto, Deadpool or First Class get their shot at the silver screen. So, I put my money where my mouth (and heart) is...

I guess I'm your worst nightmare because I'm an extreme nut. Me and a friend are going to tour local theatres tonight just to check crowds and watch but a few minutes of the film. We bought tickets to three different showings at three different local theatres. (I even bought a few extra for the cheaters on this board who said they are going to sneak in to Wolverine.) We're going with a much larger crowd to see it tomorrow.
