it's still raining a bit but there's no more lightning so I think it's safe nowup:

We were lucky, just a heavy rain, not lightning. I'm cautious of that too. I actually like rain and lightning, but a lightning storm is what fried my comp and led to me having to replace half of it about 2-3 years ago. Tho I did learn a valuable lesson and ended up buying an expensive surge protector lol.



As for inFAMOUS, loved the demo. The best way I can think of to describe it is GTA4 with Jedi powers and no friends calling you every 5 minutes. I think the replay value will balance out. Probably less to explore than GTA4, but the gameplay is better (IMO), and you'll want to play thru twice to try good and evil.

I'm leaning towards buying it, but think I might wait and listen to what a few of you say first. I'll most likely get it anyway, it's just that I'm on the fence as to whether thats on week 1 or after a price drop.

THE GAME FREAKING ROCKS!!!up: I've had it since yesterday and I just woke up about an hour ago after playing straight through for 20 HOURS, yes I said 20, and I'm just now opening up the third island, the game is addicting and pure fun!!! Do I even have to say it 10/10!!!up:

According to most reviews 2 playthroughs equal about 20-30 hours worth of game time. Guardian is obviously getting more than that though

Yeah but not that many, I usually take my time with my games, to savor it, so it may not take as long if you just go from story mission to story mission, but it's still pretty long and Fun!!!up:

Picked up the game, I was going to wait a bit, but I was at Wal-Mart and thought I would go ahead with the Uncharted 2 beta and all. Not played much, but am enjoying. Looking for those blasted little shards

The shards are easy to find, just click on L3 (left analog stick) you'll see the lightning strikes on the mini map along with some BLUE DOTS, those dots are the shards!!!up:

I found all the shards and dead drop signals in Neon District last night. I take it thats the whole first area of the map that you are able to be on.

Game is fun and I'm enjoying it more then I enjoyed the demo. I like stringing together certain combos now and jumping from cover to cover.

My only problem I have is that everytime I'm near death I never seem to be around a power source and end up dying because the enemies chase me as I'm running.

As for inFAMOUS, I am really impressed so far. If you love superheroes (which I assume you do since this is the Hype), then this game will make you feel like you are a modern day, real life one.
