OT: I beat the game on hard yesterday using my second save file and got my trophies!!!:D:up: Then I had Cole all powered up with his black lightning and proceeded to do something incredibly stupid, I accidentally overided my evil file with my good file and all of my evil deeds vanished, POOF!!!:mad::facepalm Now I have to do the evil Cole campaign AGAIN,:( this is just gonna be torture (sarcasm)!!!:oldrazz::D

the one where you have to shoot a guy with lightining from the air then thunder stomp him aswell?

Man...this game is freakin' fun. I love the missions, and the way the city is brimming with life.

I'm not too far into the story yet, but I'm wondering...should I go with a guide to find all the shards...or should I try and find them on my own?

I'm pretty confident I'll find all the drop calls on my own. But those shards...I dunno...
 
I would go with the guide if you're intent on finding them all. I did it on my own and I'm near the end and have ended up missing about 30 or so
 
Im gonna use a guide i think...it does seem it would be easy finding them without, but i know for a fact i would get down to the last 2 or somthing then i would have to look all over 3 big islands and that would take forever lol

Yeah I'm in agony here!!!:waa::oldrazz: The only advise I can give you is to Look for a group of bad guys, lure them close to a tall building, and jump off the building and try to pull it off that way, this was a tough one, I hope that helps, I know it seems kind of obvious but I wouldn't be "MASTER of the OBVIOUS" if I didn't try!!!:indy::oldrazz::D

The gps seems enough for me, to find the drop calls. Thanks for the heads up.

Holy hell, I just checked the the IGN guide for the shards, and I thought it was simple enough...but they've got like 14 sections within the Neon district, and within those sections there's like five a piece.

That's alot of freakin' shards.
 
I love the shard collecting. Normally in games like these I dont bother with this stuff, but its actually fun here.
 
Does it do anything to Cole? I thought I heard Moya say it would help somehow.
 
It gives you EXP (5 each) and collecting a certain number will increase your lightening bar at the top of the screen
 
I dont know if you guys know this but i just discovered a nice lil tip for recharging your energy.

basically you know when you recharge from a power source you cant do it again for a bit, if you zap it with your normal bolts that dont use energy it will charge up the power source so you can recharge yourself.

found this out when i was zapping Zeke and i sucked loads of energy out of him after lool
 
Have another quick question for you guys who are doing replays. I beat the game as a good guy and now am doing a run through on the evil side. Is it possible to upgrade all of the powers and get full evil karma without doing every side quest? I really don't feel like doing every single of them again to be honest.

Also, the game set me to Hard mode after I did the food crate thing right at the beginning. If I keep going without changing will I get the hard trophy or do I have to switch right from the very beginning?

I love it! Its so much fun just travelling around the city grinding

I love how diverse the game is with the main missions. Aside from the ones where you get a new power (which really are there to serve as a tutorial for them) they dont follow the same format and theres alot of variety to be found
 
I just met your nemesis, really not looking forward to fighting him lol. Anything that teleports frustrates me in this game.
 
could someone answer my question how do I get the gigawatt blades is the power only available when you play as infamous Cole or what???
