The Official Infamous Thread!!!

I think that's bloody fantastic Arsh, I actually thought for a second you might have found concept art for infamous 2.

I wonder what they'll do for the sequel? Will he have all the same powers that he had in the first game? Will they add some more?

Would the sequel take place in Empire City again? I say it should be a new city, and Cole would be a fugitive, running from the government, like John told him would happen. That manip on the previous page would be a great new look. Love the hood and coat.

I think it will take place in Empire City, but perhaps expand from that during the game.

I would expect Cole to start out with the powers we left off with.

My guess is that it would go from out previous save file for inFAMOUS.

I wonder if there will be DLC, though.

Just finished the evil storyline before I had to take the game back to the store. On one hand, I liked the parkour-esque, realistic nature in which Cole moved around the city, but it was such a relief to finally start flying across power lines and train tracks. The controls were solid, and I really enjoyed the powers and looking for blast shards, but with everyone comparing this to Prototype, I give the slightest edge to Prototype, as the controls feel a bit smoother with more options compared to Infamous.

I'm currently playing as a hero again, but plan on having Cole become evil later on

Thanks for the comments, guys :)

I think the sequel could still take place in Empire City, perhaps a few years down the road. Major cities seem to build and rebuild parts of their cities quite a bit every few years, you could have the city become larger, add another island (there is a bridge that was blocked off the military), or the buildings have been rebuilt (Ground Zero, the Warren undergoing reconstruction, etc)

I think it'd move to a city, Sucker Punch would probably want to drive "A whole new city" into its promotion of the game, not "Retrace old steps", besides give or take a few new edition if they did that they could have the game out like, tomorrow (obivous exaggeration). Plus I think it'll be a case of favorite powers staying, others going. Otherwise how to control all the awesome new powers that we need to see?

That's true. As long as Cole is back as the main protagonist, I don't mind the move to a new city, though the ending (at least on Hero), implied that he will do his best to protect Empire City.

They might do what happened with God of War 2, that is start the game out with him fully powered taking on a powerful boss (say you start out fighting Alden and having to take him in again), just to show how much of a badass you are, and then he's somehow de-powered and must regain his powers, however he'll gain newer or different powers instead of the old ones.

I'd much rather see a new city than just roam the same one again.

That's a good idea, like Metroid or something.

Haha damn, I went through the whole game as a hero and then at the end I [blackout] activated the ray sphere [/blackout] and became completely Infamous

It's possible this will move to 360 sometime, right? I mean, exclusives are almost never exclusive forever, unless it's a 1st or 2nd party game.

I like this more than Prototype, so here's hoping.

well as far as i know Sucker Punch works exclusively for Sony so i doubt it.

Nope, no chance. Sucker Punch is owned by Sony, and there for inFamous can never be on the 360.

PS3 has the best exclusives right now. Sony is kicking major ass with them. Killzone 2, Infamous, GOW III, Uncharted 1 and 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2, Littlebigplanet, etc...

i really wouldn't count Ninja Gaiden since they first came out on xbox. also Sony lost alot of good ones too like Metal Gear, Resident Evil, GTA, Final Fantasy, and Tekken. and i really wish the new Splinter Cell was coming to playstation- that looks sick!

I like this game I am 2 missions away from beating it and I just found all the blast shards took forever tho lol

Just bought it. What should I expect?
