X-Men The Official MCU X-Men News and Discussion Thread

I wouldn't mind seeing a X-Force hunting down young Apocalypse.

"The X-Men do not kill. But when Apocalypse - the mutant despot who has countless times brought humanity to the brink of destruction - returns, Wolverine knows there's only one solution: the recently reconstituted X-Force! The new team - consisting of Deadpool, Archangel, Psylocke and Fantomex - must destroy En Sabah Nur. But can Wolverine's secret team survive Apocalypse's deadly Final Horsemen? And even if they do, can they kill the reborn Apocalypse when the greatest threat the world has ever faced is now no more than an innocent child?"

Deadpool should just come back with his friend, Cable. He loves killing kids.

I know variants are an easy excuse why Cable looks like Thanos if Thanos was human. But I'd rather not see Josh Brolin as Cable in the MCU.

I usually just ignore a lot of leaks now a days (especially from MTTSH) but this is so weirdly out of left field that I'm wondering if there's truth to it lol

Love Neve Campbell. I'll take her in any role. :hrt:

If true, I'm thinking it's more likely for Doomsday/Secret Wars. She's old enough to be Ian McKellan's daughter.

So, if we compile all of Sneider's "scoops", that gives us the following characters so far:

Cyclops
Jean Grey
Storm
Beast
Rogue
Gambit
Kitty
Jubilee
Angel or Iceman ?

Seems like they're doing to OG five + a few others to round out the team. Kitty and Jubilee are both 15, so they could be in the younger class.
As long as Gambit is there I'll be happy. :)

Omega Red should have been featured in a Wolverine movie a long time ago.

Mojo who knows... X-Men in the Mojoverse of Madness I guess.
Omega Red would be hard to do in real life. He might look too much like Doc Oc. :(

Fairly baffling choice, IMO, but would make sense if she's in Doomsday as McKellan's daughter. Which doesn't exactly instill confidence in them building an actual future for these characters...

Polaris would be random but, sure, I’ll take it. And if this is the last time we see these Fox X-Men, they might as well go for broke. Cast all the major characters we’ve yet to see—especially if staples like Halle and Famke don’t return.

I don’t think we’re supposed to think these X-Men are continuing forward, right? This is all just multiverse stuff?

I hope that’s the case…

I dunno. After D&W, I'm still of the mind that they plan integrating the Fox actors into the MCU as part of the MCU X-Men. I've said before that I wouldn't be surprised if the MCU X-Men is a mix of old the guard (like Cyclops and Storm) with younger mutants played by new actors.

ugh lol I love those actors but let’s just move on after the Multiverse Saga.

Let new X-Men carry the MCU forward with Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, and street-level heroes of Disney+.

I don't disagree but I also don't think that's their perogative at this point. Pre-Quantumania? Yea it probably was their plan. But now after the success of D&W and dumping Kang for RDJ, it seems Marvel/Disney has tripled down on nostalgia. Given the reports of them trying to get a X-Men movie released in 2027, it would be a bit weird for Marvel to hype up all these old Fox actors returning just be like, oh they're gone now and here's your new X-Men less than a year later.

I don't see them shelling out that much cash to pay Neve Campbell to do voice over work for a Disney Plus cartoon. That's complete bull****.
