Makes you wonder what they will do for the MCU version when it’s recast

The suit looks incredible. Worth the wait. Can’t wait to see the whole x-men dressed up properly

I can't really muster any eXcitement seeing the Wolverine and Deadpool again.

Like, I prefer to see the other characters.

So is this thing actually gonna try to fit in the Fox timeline? Like will it show us a glimpse of the time period between DofP's ending and Logan?

its a multiverse movie, so they will play with all the possibilities (fox timelines, new timelines, 838 (Strange 2) timeline 2, MCU timelines....) It should be fun.

Whoever replaces Jackman in the MCU is gonna have even bigger shoes to fill now that he won't get to be the first one wearing the mask.

I'd like to see them take a break on Logan and focus on Laura instead.

But it's not gonna happen. They didn't pick Miles over Peter, either.

Best case scenario is they make Laura the 'main' Wolverine while using Logan as a shadowy, nomadic figure involved in his own stuff farther removed from the X-Men as a group.

They fight in front of a broken 20th Century Fox logo.

Don't overthink things.

Yeah I'm nervous now that it's just gonna be "Deadpool kills the Fox universe" like people are speculating. In which case I'll just assume Deadpool exists in a variant universe and not the actual Fox Xmen universe.

There's plenty of characters out there. I'd rather see a b tier X-Man or X-Woman than a Wolverine clone.

I guess we can call The Marvels the first MCU X movie.

Thats like saying Rogue, Havok, the Wolverine, Beast and Sunfire are Avengers characters, and Storm is a Fantastic 4 character.

They can be more than one thing (hey, a thing from the Ms Marvel show).

Wanda and Pietro. Their histories are so intertwined with both, its really hard to classify one in only one category, and its okay for others to be the same.

Beast, hell yeah he's an Avengers character. He and Wonder Man were a classic duo back in the day.

Rogue has been in enough iterations of the Uncanny Avengers that yes, she can easily be considered an Avengers character know. Hell, she's lead 2 versions of the team.

Wolverine is more of a universal character than any one, because he is in every goddamn book. But, Benids used him a lot as an Avenger, and been used enough that yes, he is an Avenger.

In short, the entire point of this goddamn mess with Wells and his Spider-man run was to say, yes, Kamala is a mutant now. And mutants tend to be X characters.

Again she isn't.

Like who really is going to immediately think Kamala Khan is a X-Men character, unless their first and only eXposure from the character is through a X-Men comic book. I've seen her in the comics - back in the previous decade (including the Inhumans), videogames, TV and now film. She isn't a X-Men character.

Its not that deep and complicated to understand. They made her a mutant in the MCU and comics is merely a catching it up to it. It doesn't make her X-Men.

But if you want to call her a X character. Thats your own choice.

Absolutely. Anyone who reads Marvel comics would agree.

I read X-Men comics, I don't think I've seen Kamala Khan in them. I've seen her in Inhumans, I actually read Inhumans when they were making them the neXt big thing.

Also just because Rogue, the Wolverine and Beast joined the Avengers don't make them defacto Avengers characters.... or else FoX would have shared film rights with Marvel Studios back in the 2000s...

Like this doesn't need to be eXplained that certain characters are first and foremost X-Men characters. And certain characters like Kamala isn't first and foremost a X character....

No one said otherwise.

We said they are more than just X-Men characters. And this is what is so exciting about mutants joining the MCU. They get to exist in a world full of so many other characters who they've never had the opportunity to interact with on screen.

And I'm someone who wants Beast in an Avenger film. :cheeky:
