I could see a House of M before an Avengers Vs X-Men

there is a lot of speculation and reporters/scoopers discussing the posibility of Avengers vs X-Men as the new A5 tittle.
That would be too crazy, unexpected and mindblowing, right now. I dont see it happening, with the announcement next week, but we'll see...

Avengers vs Xmen followed by Secret Wars would be too much awesome to contain. I hope it's actually happening.

I feel like AvX is the way to doing a reasonably self-contained multiversal saga story before we have Secret Wars with (hopefully) Avengers, Xmen, FF, street level heroes like DD, Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and heroes from other universes like Wesley Snipes' Blade, all teaming up/fighting each other across Battleworld ruled by Doom and possibly some other villains thrown into the mix.

I forgot about the Guardians but I honestly wouldn't miss them too much if we get all of those characters instead.

AvX this early would be Marvel's equivalent of BvS.

I'm not deeply enthralled by the idea or anything, but if AvX does happen this early it will very obviously be the X-Men we've already met, from the Fox movies/Deadpool 3/the alternate universes in MoM and The Marvels. It won't be the new mainline X-men. I don't expect them to even be cast until after Secret Wars films, but even if I'm wrong on that they're not going to just drop a whole new X-cast out of nowhere and have them instantly fight the Avengers for an entire movie.

Hugh Jackman is back, and rumored to stay more years, Kelsey is back, Patrick was brought back.... and told last year that he will return again.
If this happens, it will be Fox X-Men vs Marvel Studios Avengers, a multiverse battle, obviously, kinda decent lead up to Secret Wars that is the ultimate multiverse megabattle.

It's funny that all three played brand-new versions of the characters.

yeah, interesting. Also curious that almost only these X-Men to date are actual alternative versions, like the Multiverse saga suggested, and not the Avengers/characters known from the general audience.
I know Doctor Strange 2 showed some alternate versions, but.... in terms of being familiar to general audience, the X-Men nail that point better than the rest, imo.

Having Avengers v X-Men: Dawn of Marvel for phasiX, would surprise me, but not that much. They need someone/something to replace those multiple variants of Kang as a threat to the Avengers and wrap up this Multiverse Saga in a massive way. FoXverse already has plenty of actors returning for the mcu, and that era of films have been introduced way back in 2000, so there's already a history there that they could take advantage for Avengers 5 and Secret Wars, just like how Marvel Studios used the pre mcu actors to sell No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness and now Deadpool & Wolverine.

However, you aren't getting a brand new set of actors playing the Uncanny X-Men and leading Marvel Studios' X-Men, anytime soon, when Hugh Jackman and company are still appearing in future Mcu films. They would cancel each other out especially if Mcu isn't back in top form by phasiX.

Exactly.

You really gotta build to get to AvX to have some real stakes. Putting it out there with a bunch of Fox actors that the audience never got the chance to root for besides the usual few would be a huge disservice.

I am starting to feel like that might be what's happening. Starting to think Avengers 5 is AvX with the FoX-Men and Avengers 6 is Secret Wars against Kang

The Fantastic Four
Blade
Shang Chi and the Wreckage of Time
Avengers Vs. X-Men
The Uncanny X-Men
Avengers: Secret Wars

This would be awesome

Spider-Man 4 will also most definitely be in phase 6. The X-Men reboot probably won't happen until after Secret Wars.
